Below you will find the best order to unlock and level up skills by how useful they are so you don’t have to level the skills up one by one and spend a lot of extra tokens on it. This will let you use this hero earlier and also saves you important Universal Token in the long run!
Your sweetspot of skills to make this commander useful is: 5511 and this is the recommended way to get there:

Best Troop Types

Kinnara is a Marksman Unit commander and although the talent build I recommend doesn’t invest in the marksman Tree, some of her buffs only apply to Marksman Units so it makes sense that you take her with a full marksman Unit legion to the field to make sure you get the most consistent performance.

Nico as primary commander with Kinnara secondary makes a lot of sense since Nico also has a huge target debuff in his active skill. So, either Kinnara or Nico will use their skill and debuff so the target legion takes a lot more damage and then the other one hits with the active skill (See full build here).

Ffraegar is also a marksman combination that has a lot of synergy and can get you a lot of value (See full build here).

Hosk is a exensive but yet also powerful combination, espcially when you have him expertised so you get the critical bonus applied to the target very frequently through their kit. I run Hosk secondary here as I really like the talents that Kinnara has a lot more (See full build here).

Syndrion is like Kinnara a marksman hero but their overall synergy is not above that they are about marksman and their kits work really differently to make this a top-priority pairing (See full build here).

Kregg can be also a pairing you might try out if the above ones will not work for you (and that applies to quite a big number of players). You will gain synergy of 3 of Kregg’s skills, he is ranged as well and he deals area damage which is also nice (See full build here).

Gwanwyn is also a good option along Kinnara as she is also a Marksman hero and although her 2nd skill is about Peacekeeping and not helpful, her march speed buff of her 3rd skill works really well with Kinnara in the open field (See full build here).

Theia is a more of an experimental pairing right now but I actually liked it, espcially as she will boost the next rage skill with her active skill and that has no time limit, so Kinnara can use her hard-hitting active skill and deal significantly more damage + the shielding and survivability works (See full build here).

Eliana might be last call here if you don’t have any of the above options available. She provides survivability but that’s about it and there’s no reason to run this unless you have no other option (See full build here).

Shadowblades is a newer artifact and as it synergizes with DEF Break that Kinnara can apply, there is a strong synergy and along Shadowblades the strongest artifact choices. Rattle Spear is a newer artifact and as it synergizes with DEF Break that Kinnara can apply, there is a strong synergy and along Shadowblades the strongest artifact choices.

Best Pet Synergies For Kinnara (NEW)

With the new war pet system in Call of Dragons it’s aso important to pair Kinnara with the right pet to gain more synergies. Please also check out the full tier list of all war pets in Call of Dragons here to see which ones are worth the invest in general.

Snowpeak Roc
is a perfect match with the trigger on DEF Break and works best with Kinnara legions. Period.
Sand Lizard
is a good marksman war pet and works with Kinnara well but I personally would choose the Snowpeak Roc over this

Best Builds For Kinnara

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Kinnara that make sense when running as the primary commander in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

With Kinnara you see a ton of talent builds around but I honestly don’t think they will be as close when it comes to open field versatility than this one here. You will unlock the core node (Backstabber) which gives a nice extra damage boost and if you pair Kinnara with a secondary hero like Nico, this will be applied pretty much as much as possible with the 5s cooldown. From here go into the Control Tree and pick up the extra march speed, attack and High Spirits to get extra rage. This helps a lot as you will be able to use Kinnara’s active skill (and her secondary commanders, too) and apply more debuffs to make your core talent debuff apply more frequently. Now take Soul Siphon, which is one of my favorite talents in Call of Dragons. You will not just gain extra rage when you use this skill, you will also take away the rage from your target and make them use their active skill less frequently. Then take the additional march speed as this is so powerful in the open field and more stats and unlock the final control tree talent Reticent. This is with Soul Siphon my other favorite talent as you can simply shut down the target and prevent them from using their active skill. This means you will now not only reduce their rage, generate more rage yourself, you will also silence them so they can’t use their skill. The last points you have leftover at this point are well-spent in the PvP Tree, picking up more march speed, more extra rage with another High Spirit talent (yes, they do stack) and finally use Army of VAlor. This is the talent build for Kinnara and I take this discussion anytime that it is by far the most-effective one.

Conclusion

I hope this guide for building Kinnara helped you investing without wasting much time and resources.
