Below you will find the best order to unlock and level up skills by how useful they are so you don’t have to level the skills up one by one and spend a lot of extra tokens on it. This will let you use this hero earlier and also saves you important Universal Token in the long run!
Your sweetspot of skills to make this commander useful is: 5x55 and this is the recommended way to get there:

Best Troop Types

With Syndrion 3rd skill and the way his kit works, you only want to use him with marksman units all together.

Best Hero Pairing for Syndrion

Ffraegar

Kinnara

Gwanwyn

Nico

Ffraegar also boosts normal attack crit rate and damage and works well with Syndrion and is the absolute best pairing you can run here for marksman and even on the top in general. They both enhance each other so much and if you run their artifact you will give everyone a hard time (See full build here).

Hosk is one of the important pairings for Syndrion as you have the extra attack that hits hard so you want to boost normal attack damage, crit and damage output as much as possible – and as Hosk does that well along being quite a universal hero he works great with Syndrion (See full build here).

Kinnara is a possible pairing as well although I don’t like it as much. Most synergy here is Kinnara apply DEF break so Syndrion deals more normal attack damage. Not bad but also not outstanding as the ones above (See full build here).

Gwanwyn has a lot of synergy with Syndrion as she will apply Poison with each normal attack but switching targets is not perfect and she is overall not the greatest hero. Still, if you are building syndrion for your 2nd marksman march and have Nico Kinnara already in use, this is a viable option but just not slamming it (See full build here).

Nico is a suboptimal pairing and they don’t have much synergy away from the fact that Nico is also a marksman hero (See full build here).

Goldcrest is an amazing marksman artifact with Syndrion and you will deal incredible damage doing so + the overall Marksman unit buff is also out of this world, too. My personal favorite one to use with Syndrion if you don’t run him with Ffraegar or don’t have Goldcrest availabe. Shadowblades is an amazing marksman artifact with Syndrion and you will deal incredible damage doing so + the overall Marksman unit buff is also out of this world, too. My personal favorite one to use with Syndrion if you don’t run him with Ffraegar or don’t have Goldcrest availabe.

Best Pet Synergies For Syndrion (NEW)

With the new war pet system in Call of Dragons it’s aso important to pair Syndrion with the right pet to gain more synergies. Please also check out the full tier list of all war pets in Call of Dragons here to see which ones are worth the invest in general.

Night Roc
increases normal attack damage so well that they go mutually well together
Sand Lizard
provdes some healing and, honestly, if you run him with Ffraegar you have already so much damage going on that the healing will be appreciated and useful and rather make your march more nasty to deal with than just ramping up damage
Golden Roc
is also a possibility simply as extra rage is always welcome and no matter what Syndrion can make good use of that as well

Best Builds For Syndrion

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Syndrion that make sense when running as the primary commander in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

This first build sounds a little weird but in fact it is the build that will get the most DPS output out of Syndrion although it’s less obvious when looking at it. For this build, however, you have to run Syndrion with Ffraegar and also have him build quite far, ideally expertised.Once you unlocked the center node you go into the Precision Tree and take the march speed as it is just really important for marksman in general and you wil highly appreciate it. Then you have to take Strenghtened Weaponary that will decrease your skill damage but increase your normal attacks and as you have to pair with Ffraegar here and this will increase all other damage so much more that it will give you a good damage boost. From here pick Invincible to scale the normal attacks even more and with the double attacks it’s really strong. From here take Cool Under Pressure for even more normal attack damage, Intrepid for the crit rate and Unstoppable for more Crit Damage. This works well with Ffraegar paired with Syndrion as well as you already have high crit rate so you can scale the crit damage a lot better. At the end pick Mightly Slash so you get the double normal attacks and this is where things fall into place with all the normal attack boosts and crits you have. You will be quite quick on the map and your normal attacks hit twice and hit hard + the counterattacks also hurt and will give you more damage output than any other build, espcially when you have him expertised.
This build here is for all other cases where you don’t have him well-built and you’re not running him with Ffraegar as pairing, this is where you want to go for the hero skill damage and still have a strong hero.

Conclusion

I hope this guide for building Syndrion helped you investing without wasting much time and resources.
