what do you mean with incomplete? Also are you referring to the PRO or the latest FREE bases?
In the latest (free) cwl base (after th18 update) there is still the weapon of the creation station but in game this is not at th17 anymore

Thanks but I just noticed this base is from the WWE event. Which was in April. So this base in a way is 2 months old. Not to say the base wonβt work. But when I saw the wrestlers in camps. Itβs definitely not something that was made in May. Please explain

Fair question, totally understand where this is coming from π The full details would be a very long one so I try to make it brief. Bases go through a lot of testing here (real testing, not just friendly attacks) so that takes a long time since wars and legend league defenses are limited per day. Normally a draft of a base takes weeks to pass all tests, if it does, with iterations of fine tuning. Since we are still using the same core defensive meta (no matter if there have been smaller adjustments on the attacking side, the defensive funneling and how to defend certain troop types, distance on buildings and more) for more than 3 months now. So, this means right now a few bases have been initially drafted a while ago but undergo all tests, including very recent ones, to make sure they perform. The screenshot is more decorational here since people donβt trust base links without image (donβt ask why) and this one is from the initial phase of the base draft. But as you can see, we tested it with the latest cc troops. I could have done a fresh base screenshot but had some bases active and wanted to update the base here quickly for you guys so I took the old screenshot that originated with the wwe troop. Anyway, tldr; a base posted as June base normally has a 3-4 weeks (and sometimes longer) journey of being tested across several accounts (Legend League in different trophy counts, war with and against different clans) before it is released as working meta and get posted here. Thatβs the time and quality that has proven over the last 10 years of doing this to be reliable.

I am working on a new batch already for the PRO bases so the current PRO bases will become public. The reason is I had some approaches prepared to provide bases when the update drops. So my guess is like 7-10 days until you can use them. But for now you can simply replace an archer tower position with it and give it a go, the defense is not that much of an game-changer element that requires bases to be structured completely differently π

we donβt do farming bases specifically anymore expect for fresh releases of a new Town Hall level since this farming base archetype is actually pretty outdated and is only kept alive by AI Youtube video creators. Using a good trophy base and push to legend is getting you more resources than dropping and trying to protect loot
Ahh okay will give that a try, I usually hover around titan 1 for the ores, would you say to stay around here or go into legends? Some days I just donβt want to do 8 attacks so donβt really go into legends league much
Well, I mean at the first place itβs about having fun (I know some people do not use this approach with games, but I believe itβs a good one), so my reply has two parts. One part is the pure βthis is the best from a math standpointβ which is that going to legend league and do your attacks there is better than using a βfarmingβ base that protects storages in a lower league until someone comes by that will 3-Star your base and take all the resources. This is simply about what helps you stockpile the most resources. In your case (thatβs the second part), Titan I already has solid rewards so you can also stay there with a good trophy base and youβre good. You can try pushing for legend but if that turns out to be something that make you feel forces to grind, donβt do it and stay in Titan League and have fun and live a happy clash life there π
My initial reply was a little salty because Iβm more and more frustrated that Youtube AI video creators that repost old bases over and over and call them farming bases keep an outdated approach alive when farming bases actually worked (until pretty much December 2015 when Supercell massively changed the way attacking worked and actually looting resources and mines/collectors have been your only resource income source). they donβt play the game, they repost base images and links from all kinds sources with different titles so they donβt know. But if you see FARMING BASE hundreds of times posted all over the place as normal player, you fall for the claim. Thatβs what frustrates me but that is not your fault. So I hope I could light some shadow into this, especially for newer players that started the game in the post-2016 era π

Thereβs so many videos claiming βthe best 10 new basesβ ect ect but they always get wrecked and Iβm not a base builder, I wouldnβt know where to start
forget the videos. Youtube has been a source up until like 2018/2019 but ever since all good builders left that platform and started putting their bases on thrown websites/Patreon. the bases on Youtube are reposts of reposts of reposts. they are all trash and if one big channel has a good base, it gets wrapped into those videos over and over for months or used so much that it gets burnt altogether within days since attackers develop a strategy against it. I canβt recall anything good there but as a disclaimer I avoided all base videos on Youtube for 2-3 years so there might be smaller unknown channels that have quality bases that I am not aware of, but the broad majority is simply clickbait. Sometimes my bases got wrapped in there as well thatβs why I watermark them. The people creating the videos donβt even have the game to create their own screenshots of it, they simply copy paste the link and screenshot from the website into their video and using a simple watermark on the pictures stopped that. Thatβs why I can tell you with confidence that they donβt even play the game and only clickbait for ad revenue there.
So itβs been a few days since the TH release, have you guys done testing to where you can share a more accurate updated base for now? Besides the one that are posted right now

When will the th17 bases be ready?
We are working incredibly hard on it, have several bases prepared to be gemmed to max out everything to test. We hope to have a first one out in 24 hours. But if you do not gem everything, the started bases are a good option while you work on upgrades π

No there will be free ones. There will be bases for players upgrading to TH17 (not everyone is gemming every new building right away) and initial TH17 starter layouts. From there, like TH16, we think there will be a few iterations looking how the balancing is and the meta works. Probably weekly new bases to keep up with th evolving meta. So everytime the new iteration is available, that is for members and the last one will become free. We do this until the βdustβ settles and the meta is more stable and then there will be a monthly schedule like the other bases. So, you can expect a lot of free bases as well with just the best and most recent ones being members exclusive π let us know if you have any other questions
