I really hate those sites or videos showing you dozens of bases they copied somewhere without making any deeper explanation why they work so for this reason you will only find bases here that I have tested myself.

War Base – this war base looks quite standard and symmetrical at the beginning but I designed it with some pitfalls that will mess with the attacking troops and, especially with the basic attacks most TH6 use these days, it will work well and force a higher Town Hall attacker to jump in and waste an attack to get the 3-Star in Clan War.

Trophy Base – looking for your first serious trophy push with your Town Hall 6 base? Well, this base has you covered and will block all popular attacks you have to deal with quite well and give attackers a hard time with a tough perimeter and compartment design that will drag troops away from the core of the base.

Farming Base – with all the valuable buildings that store your resources in the core of the base, this one will help you gather the resources needed to upgrade your village.

Town Hall 6 Bases – April 15th, 2020

War Base – excellent war base and not easy to crack, especially when the attacker runs the basic attacking strategies what most of the attackers do, so chances are good a higher Town Hall attacker has to jump in for the 3-Star.

Trophy Base – the compartments in this base helps a lot in keeping the attacking troops away from the center of the base.

Farming Base – great protection for your resources and it will not be easy for the attacker to actually get them.

Town Hall 6 Bases – September 21st, 2020

War Base – this ring-style inspired base works really well keeping attackers away from the core so there’s no easy 3-Star from another TH6 against this base. Trap placement makes this really effective.

Trophy Base – ring style compartments with a perimeter that holds the storages will motivate attackers to give you a cheap shield by taking some resources and not going all the way against your base.

Farming Base – this farming base protects your resources as well as possible by having them as much inside of the base as possible.

Town Hall 6 Bases – May 2020

This is an interesting base layout for Town Hall 6 here and can be used for almost all causes (except core heavy resource protection, more on that below…) and works really well. YOu have an outside perimeter protecting the outside compartments that are pretty small so ground attacks have to break through multiple ones while the storages will slow down attacking troops here as well.

It looks like the storages are easy to get but getting all of them is pretty hard because they are still protected by the splash defenses and simply sniping is hard because the attacker needs to clear the outside trash buildings as well, so you can also use this base when you’re farming as well.

Town Hall 6 Bases – March 2020

Trophy Base: Here’s a nice hybrid base for Town Hall 6 that allows you to keep your resources protected at some degree as well as your trophies. You could use it for Clan War but I rather recommend using one of the war bases there instead to really protect without minding your storages (Clan War will not let you lose any loot).

Most attacks at TH6 are with Giants and mixed ground troops and those are the attacks you want to defend. If someone comes in with mass Dragons or hits with a higher Town Hall there’s not much you can do but against Giants this base works really well with the perimeter buildings messing with the attackers troops to really go into the base and this will prevent major damage.

War Base: Here we have a TH6 war base that did perform quite well for the last wars tested and you will also give any TH6 attacker a hard time – of course, if there’s a TH7 or higher hitting your base with mass Dragons and crazy Clan Castle troops you can’t prevent the 3-Star but that’s not your job. Actually your job in Clan War as a Town Hall 6 is to force the higher Town Halls to attack your base because the other Town Hall 6s failed to 3-Star you.

Works well to guide Giants away from the center and with solid Clan Castle troops you will see great results with this war base.

Town Hall 6 Bases – February 2020

I really like this Town Hall 6 base here for trophy pushing but also for protecting resources as well, a real hybrid base setup that works really well, especially against Giant/Healer combinations as they have trouble getting into the base. Normally the attacker uses Wall Breaker and the compartments on the edges will attract them to not open the inner compartments where Giants will get stuck and your defenses can take them down.

Also the traps in the center are really effective as troops will be grouped up there so the Spring Traps will take out as many as possible.

Town Hall 6 Bases – January 2020

War Base: This is the best war base for Town hall 6 I had used in a long time and it works really well preventing other TH6s to 3-Star you. You have the storages and all the other buildings on the outside and this will slow down the attack because the attacker needs to clear them before starting the main attack for the center of your base.

In the center you have the traps and with all the empty spaces it’s impossible for the attacker to guess where the traps are so they will strike with full force. Really effective setup.

Hybrid Base: This TH6 base here makes troop walk around the base a lot and there are so many attackers out there that simply can’t execute their attack in a way to actually break into the base to make it worth using because every defense you have where you won’t lose your resources will give you a cheap shield and let you attack a couple of times.

You also see attacks where attackers spend all small troops to snipe one or two storages but that’s only 20% or 40% of the resources you hold so no big deal.

CWL Base: Let’s start off with a war base that have brought our clan some real nice defenses at Town Hall 6 and forced the enemy clan to get in a TH8 to clear the base. If you see that happen you know you had done a great job and this is the main objective for the lower Town Hall players in Clan War and also CWL – forcing the enemy higher Town Halls to waste an attack to clear off the lower bases. The corners are annoying because the attacker has to clear them manually or risk that he will run out of time and the trap ring in the outside layer is also really effective against Giants because there’s no way to prevent it.
