Best Troop Types
There is two possibilities here – one is running her with Maggrot in the garrison where troop types aren’t that crazy relevant but if you take her outside of any stationed structure you want archers for sure
Best Hero Pairing for Zayda
Maggrat should be the biggest surprise here, new heroes that are released together in Call of Dragons always go exceptionally well together and so do Zayda and Maggrat and they even outclass Ffraegar with Syndrion as the top damage dealer pairing in the game now (See full build here).
Ffraegar with the enhanced crit rate on normal attacks with all the buffs that Zayda has will work exceptionally well as well if you don’t jump the gun and get Maggrat to run along Zayda (See full build here).
Syndrion with Zayda is also a great pairing as their kits go well together (See full build here).
Kinnara is probably the best pairing for F2P players in Call of Dragons and their kits compliment each other really well (See full build here).
Hosk with the awakening skill can benefit a lot from her as well and although the counterattacks are not that relevant in this pairing, it works well (See full build here).
Kregg can be a viable early pair and although he is a flying hero, he only cares very little about flying units and you can still get away with that pair (See full build here).
Gwanwyn can also work but away from both being markman heroes there is not a ton of synergy but if that’s your only possible pair you still do it (See full build here).

Best Builds For Zayda
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Zayda that make sense when running as the primary commander in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
This is the general marksman talent build for any hero combination you use her with that is NOT Syndrion.
This is the marksman talent build for her that will make her do the crazy damage when you run her with Syndrion so she can put out there with focus on that. So, if you build her to be your crazy DPS legion commander, this is the talent build to run with man focus on the marksman branch to get the main nodes before spending your points other points where it makes sense.
