Junk Control Deck Guide – MARVEL SNAP

This deck basically exists only to use disrupting and controlling cards to mess with your opponent’s synergies. It might requeire some skills to play but will teach you a lot about reading your opponent. This is a force-to-retreat deck that normally doesn’t have the value for a showdown but whenever you see your opponent struggling a little or you getting under their skin, snap and let them retreat will help you win. If you see them snap, go out as you normally don’t have the showdown value here.

In this guide you’ll learn everything about the Junk Control deck, including some replacements, and what lines to play and everything else you need. If you want to see what decks are crushing the meta right now in MARVEL Snap, please refer to my weekly updated meta decks guide here.

Card Strategy for the Junk Control Deck

The Hood will give you the 6-power Demon and you can use Viper later to flip him over to your opponent’s side (also a great move along Titania). Find more decks and synergy cards to play with The Hood here.
Iceman can interrupt any lines your opponent wants to draw into and although you don’t see which card it affects, it can sometimes ruin your opponents match on Turn 1. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Iceman here.
Titania wants to flip around and you can use cards like Viper and Green Goblin to make sure to have swing her over to your side at the end. That’s a net 10-power change for the location and with Green Goblin an Viper/Hood you can make sure your opponent’s side of the location is stuffed and then swing her over. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Titania here.
Beast can flip your Hood back to your hand if you need to get him out of the location and then you can play him again for free for another 6-power Demon. You can repeat that even with The Demon to get multiple free versions at the end. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Beast here.
Mojo can get decent power and filling up the locations especially with Viper and Green Goblin and the cheap Demon(s) you get through Hood/Beast is something to easily get. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Mojo here.
Viper helps you to stuff your opponent’s side of a location and you can move over the Hood or a Rock created by Debrii. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Viper here.
Green Goblin is a nice card to fill up your opponent’s side of a location to flip Titania or trigger Mojo’s ability. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Green Goblin here.
Debrii adds rocks to the other locations and helps you filling your opponent’s side of the board to make sure the space gets tight to play cards, trigger Titania to stay on your side and activate Mojo’s ability. With Viper you can even push one rock on your side to the opponent side. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Debrii here.
Polaris is great to move around enemy cards and disrupt further – and with decent power herself a great card to drop. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Polaris here.
Shang-Chi let you deal with any high-power card you’re opponent is up to as you will not build a lot of power with this deck. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Shang-Chi here.
Spider-Woman is your only card with some power and also decreases your opponent’s side of the location with up to -4 power. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Spider-Woman here.
Doctor Octopus is a dangerous card to play, sure, but can also drag all the important cards of your opponent into one location and leave your opponent empty-handed for the showdown. Espcially some deck-archetypes fail against Doctor octopus frequently (like Galactus, Destroy Decks). Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Doctor Octopus here.
