Best Troop Types
Goresh is so much about infantry that you want to run him with infantry. There are some experiments to run him with cavalry but that is very specific so I don’t feel you really want to do that.
Best Hero Pairing for Goresh
Skogul as primary commander works really well and you even get the mobility tree to be a lot more flexible in the open field and with the extra counterattack damage she eneables, this is a perfect pairing to run (See full build here).
Garwood helps a lot keeping Goresh alive and enhancing the counterattack he deals and is also a great pairing (See full build here).
Madeline has counterattack damage which goes so well with Goresh’s 3rd skill but the shielding can be in the way here as well. They look great on paper but the reality is you can only have one Physical ATK buff active so Madelines buff will be overwritten by Goresh’s boost so it simply disappears (See full build here).
Bakhar is, just looking at the kit, working pretty much best with him except Skogul as you will bleed out your enemy once your health gets low – but he is an epic commander which also gets you in trouble as well when you want something strong to soak up the damage (See full build here).
Hosk improves stats and can be a good pairing as well buffing each other up but there is not much in terms of counterattack synergy (See full build here).
Nika can work on paper but you have some basic misconception here as you have infantry taking damage with Goresh and infantry dealing damage with Nika that makes it quite funky in the field (See full build here).
