Hela Absorbing Man – Pool 3 Discard (MARVEL SNAP Deck Guide)

Discard decks in Marvel Snap work just so well and after I just got so much outstanding feedback for my Pool 3 Discard deck here, I have here another discard deck that works just insanely well, utilizing Hela along with discarding cards as Ghost Rider and Absorbing Man so snowball even further into the discard ability – and I can tell you, it’s a crazy deck to play and one that has emerged to dominate.

Deck Overview

Here’s the deck:

Why this deck works well – while lower Pool Discard decks sometimes require you to draw into the win condition line, this one plays so well together and has so many possibilities that you always get strong value lines of drawing. Another thing that makes this discard deck stick out in Marvel Snap is that you will draw into so many strong win conditions here that make strong end-game plays!

Win condition – many discarding will snowball into either bringing all of them back with Hela at the end for free, using Infinaut for whopping power  or Leader and/or Captain Marvel to basically joker and mirror your opponent if you have a good lead by Turn 5. Also, Death can become incredibly cheap (especially if your opponent plays a destroy deck).

Problems – actually none, can even deal well with current power-pushing decks like Black Panther.

Substitutions – none, but if you lack cards you can look here into other great discard decks.

How To Play

Get your cards on the board and try to discard into the cards that benefit you to make either a strong push on one location or multiple other locations in the end.

Early Phase (Turn 1-3)

All the cheaper cards in your deck have discard effects, so get them on the board and see what cards you discard and try to find out what deck your opponent is playing to predict what your best end-game plays will be.

Mid Phase (Turn 4-5)

Ghost Rider and Absorbing Man a great line here to bring back discarded cards on the board, especially if you discarded the higher cost cards you can bring them on the board cheaper. You might also see if you skip Turn 5 if you have Infinaut in your hand for a big push in one location.

Also Captain Marvel is a great joker card here that gives you a lot fo flexibility.

End Phase (Turn 6)

Hela is amazing to bring back a ton of discarded cards, Infinaut for high-power play or Leader to keep the lead in your locations if you have it already. You have a ton of options and no deck is getting really dangerous for you.

Conclusion

Great deck and if you have the cards you can probably give it a shot to see that it’s the best discard deck so far, especially countering the current meta decks that have high power push potential.
