CSR2 ShowDown Event (Season 263) – Best Cars & Tunes

ShowDown is the latest new game mode in CSR2 and you can win some nice prizes there if you use the right strategy.

With every ShowDown Event, I will post here how the eligible cars will perform and which one you should use.

⚠️ Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe T4 10.3x ? coming soon
⚠️ Lotus Emira First Edition T4 10.3x 12.2x Best Tune

What a smoking pile of trash of a roaster… So to cover up that they had a T4 Milestone Car last season they entered a super slow Prestige Cup T5 this season (like the 3rd time they used the Aston Martin One-77 as Prestige Cup car in the 8 years it is in the game). But now that nobody wants to build the Mercedes since it is still slower, they just entered a much faster Zenvo TS1 GT out of nowhere. I really don’t understand why not just make a T4 Prestige Cup car this season then and a full T4 roaster?! Well, there must be a reason I don’t see, … anyway… the roaster with the times above. Good luck on the track.

⚠️  Noble M600 T5 7.5x 12.8x Best Tune
⚠️  McLaren 720S Spider T5 7.6x 9.6x Best Tune

To win the Jaguar XKR-S GT for the Closing Pattern final event your best shot is likely the Bugatti Altantic or the Porsche 911 GT2 as they both have been featured in event numerous times and are able to do the time needed. All cars not listed here are way to slow to get you anywhere significant. It’s the same setup as last event ShowDown so use what worked there for you. Also if it is too hard the first days, the times needed drop towards the end of the event so don’t give up too soon.

Elite ShowDown (July 2nd, 2026)

Chevrolet 2020 Corvette Stingray T4 9.8x 11.1x Best Tune
Cadillac CTS-V T4 10.3x 13.3x Best Tune

As usual, the Elite Tuner Chapter car is the sole dominator unless you run against a modder with a Jaguar that outruns the 7 seconds.

⚠️ Nissan Veilside Z (RZ34) FFZ400 T4 9.9x 11.6x Best Tune

All T5 cars are pretty competitive here so you don’t necessarily need to build the Honda if you have the Bentley or Porsche already well-built.

⚠️  Noble M600 T5 7.5x 12.8x Best Tune
⚠️  McLaren 720S Spider T5 7.6x 9.6x Best Tune

To win the Dodge Viper for the Closing Pattern main event your best shot is likely the Bugatti Altantic or the Porsche 911 GT2 as they both have been featured in event numerous times and are able to do the time needed. All cars not listed here are way to slow to get you anywhere significant. It’s the same setup as last event ShowDown so use what worked there for you.

⚠️ Lotus Emira T4 10.3x 12.2x Best Tune
⚠️ Cadillac CTS-V T4 10.3x 13.3x Best Tune

Using the Prestige Cup car is alright I guess if you want to save some resources and don’t feel like building the Milestone Car from alst season right all the way, espcially as the McLaren GT is on max Stage 5 already quite fast compared to what T5 cars normally do in those time ranges.

⚠️  McLaren 720S Spider T5 7.6x 9.6x Best Tune

To win the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 3.8 (997.2) for the Nightfall Directive main event your best shot is likely the Bugatti Altantic or the Porsche 911 GT2 as they both have been featured in event numerous times and are able to do the time needed. All cars not listed here are way to slow to get you anywhere significant.

Champion ShowDown (May 27th, 2026)

⚠️ Toyota GR Yaris T3 11.0x 13.5x
⚠️ Audi RS 3 Sportback performance edition T3 11.3x 12.5x Best Tune

Using the Prestige Cup car here is like dynamite fishing in a Goldfish Bowl. The T3 cars are nothing and will get nothing as everyone will run the Lamborghini so that is what you ‘choice’ this week looks like.

Elite ShowDown (May 21st, 2025)

The new Elite ShowDown is up:

ELITE ShowDown (MAY 21st)

⚠️ Cadillac CTS-V T4 10.3x 12.7x Best Tune
⚠️ Mercedes-AMG G 63 T4 10.6x do not use it

The recent ShowDown roaster. Be aware that the modded Jaguar can reach the M2 times so just because you have a well-upgraded M2 and you see getting matched up with a Jaguar doesn’t mean you can give them slack.

Champion ShowDown (May 13th, 2026)

Here is the roaster for the new Champion ShowDown:

CHAMPION ShowDown (April 29th)

Honda LB Works NSX-R T4 9.7x 12.6x Best Tune
⚠️ Honda 2023 Civic Type R T3 10.9x 14.5x Best Tune

All T4 cars are competitive enough, only the Prestige Cup car as T3 is not getting anywhere in this event but honestly if it is the only car you have and it is maxed, it still can get you a few reward tiers.

Rosso Maranello (May 13th, 2026)

Here are the cars for the event ShowDown:

Ferrari F430 Scuderia T5 6.8x 8.7x Best Tune
Ferrari 812 Competizione T5 6.9x
Ferrari 12 Cilindri (Spider) T5 7.2x 8.4x Best Tune

As accessible the event is, if you want to win the Ferrari 296 Speciale A for the Rosso Maranello event, you realistically need one of the main event prize cars. The 812 Competizione can also be alright and maybe towards the end of the event a maxed 12 Cilindri can work but the 812 GTS will be too slow. Don’t shoot the messenger, it is what it is. This event is not designed for snacking a free car for F2P.

⚠️ Chevrolet 2020 Corvette Stingray T5 7.9x 12.4x Best Tune

As usual the Elite Tuner Chapter car is so far ahead it doesn’t even make sense to think about anything else.

⚠️ Lexus LC 500 Convertible T4 9.6x 11.5x Best Tune

All T5 cars are practically working well here but keep in mind, in case the Lamborghini is your cr of choice, that it is without all the Stage 6 upgrdes relatively slow.

As accessible the event is, if you want to win the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta for the Rosso Maranello event, you need the Enzo or a maxed out 488 Pista Spider the other cars will not get you to the target time to get the trophies needed.

Koenigsegg Regera ‘CSR Edition’ T5 7.2x 10.5x Best Tune

First time in a while where we have such a close bracket here with pretty much all eligable T5 cars are being competitive. Mind I listed the Gold-Star times so if you have a purple-star version they run somewhat around 0.05 seconds faster than their gold-star versions.

⚠️ Ferrari F40 T4 10.7x 12.1x Best Tune

As accessible the event is, if you want to win the Ferrari Dino for the Rosso Maranello event, you need the LaFerrari. The other options are one of the historically slowest T5 cars in the game (no type, the 488 Spider and the 599 GTo run mid 9-second times when maxed, it’s ridiculous they never got a buff since 2018 when they entered the game).

⚠️ Nissan Pandem Skyline GT-R (BCNR33) T4 9.9x 12.0x Best Tune

The McLaren Elva is the car of choice, simply because it is so much faster and you can pretty much max it for free through the Prestige Cup.

Elite ShowDown (March 25th, 2025)

The new Elite Tuner ShowDown is up and we have some frequently featured cars in there along a new one:

Hennessey Exorcist T5 7.9x 12.7x Best Tune

I wrap this ShowDown up real quick – it is either way the new maxed Elite Tuner GR Supra from the current Elite Tuner Chapter that is the only car that really stand a chance here against the army of modded S7 Twin Turbos that will beat the 7 seconds so make sure to report any player that runs a 7.0 second Saleen S7 as they are modding and cheating.

⚠️ Mazda KRC Modified ‘SE3P Wide Body’ RX-8 T4 9.8x 12.5x Best Tune

Super clear setup this week with the Prestige Cup car on top by so much, there is not even a thought to be given to any of the other cars, simply for being the only T5 car in the roaster.

SSC Tuatara (Concept/WRE) T5 6.9x 13.4x Best Tune
ATS Automobili RR Turbo T5 7.3x 10.3x Best Tune

To win the Koenigsegg Gemera for the Hypercar Crucible main event your best shot is likely the Bugatti Bolide if you got it as Milestone car 2 years ago or the SSC Tuatara that was featured for Gold in several events.

ATS Automobili RR Turbo T5 7.3x 10.3x Best Tune

To win the new Bugatti La Voiture Noire (and I say new because it is in terms of the game a different car than the Voiture Noire we already have in the game but the good news is, it runs 6.8xx seconds instead of the 7.0xx seconds the ‘original’ ones from 2020 does) for the Hypercar Crucible main event your best shot is likely the Tuatara Concept but wait until the last day or two in the ShowDown for the time to drop, otherwise you will need one of the Top 3 cars.

The new Elite Tuner chapter car, the GR Supra (by the way congratulations to the devs to make another car with that name to prevent any confusions) will blow everything here. Early access to it has been blocked so I will add the the tune here as soon as I get my hands on the car to really test it.

Very fair roaster here with options for almost everyone, including the Noble as oldtimer in the roaster. The G-Wagon has no chance here, obviously, but I’m sure most of you have one of the T5 cars available.

Pretty solid roaster here with options for everyone honestly. Please mind the Shelby Super Snake is the 2025 version, not the Elite Custom version! Also, check the Stage 5 setups if you don’t have the cars maxed as the Super Snake is better unless fully maxed for most players.

ATS Automobili RR Turbo T5 7.3x 10.3x Best Tune

You need the Dallara Stradale car to finish Hypercar Event as a lock-in car. But even if you are not shooting for the event, it’s a nice car with a target time below 6.8xx seconds that you can get here for free.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again when the maxed players and modders are gone.

Absolutely wicked roaster with the Prestige Cup car dominating everything. Good news for you as it will be cheap to build, bad for you as everyone will have it so competition will be tight.

I wrap this ShowDown up real quick – it is either way the new maxed Elite Tuner GR 86 that is the only car that really stand a chance here against the army of modded S7 Twin Turbos that will beat the 7 second so in a odd way the ShowDown has at least a competitive roaster (if you take in the modded times).

⚠️ Lotus Emira T4 10.4x 11.8x Best Tune

Forget about the Bentley and the Lotus, they are so far away. This will be ultimately coming down to the players that race their maxed Elite Tuners versus models with their XJ220. Report any Jaguar that is running below the 7.4 second as it is impossible to do so unless you cheat. I would love to say something like ‘Have fun and enjoy’ but I think it would come across sarcastic, so hang in there and hope the next Champion ShowDown will be with a fair roaster.

⚠️ Toyota GR Yaris T3 10.9x 14.1x coming soon
⚠️ Audi RS 5 Coupe T3 11.1x 16.9x Best Tune

The Audi is the fastest and since it’s the Prestige Cup car prepare yourself for a lot of races with a maxed car versus maxed cars here. The T3 cars are alright but can’t keep up simply because maxing out the Audi is something that is too easy to do for most players.

Setup
Roman’s Fiero T5 6.7x 8.5x Best Tune
Han’s Toyota GR Supra T5 6.7x 8.4x Best Tune
Letty’s Nova SS T5 7.0x

I know, I did state multiple times in the past that I won’t cover the Fast & Furious Events here anymore since they have become a straightforward money-grab and I don’t want to raise the impression here that there is any strategic angle to them other than buying packs until you beat a race. But, this ShowDown is actually interesting for all players so please hear me out… The prize car is available at 1000 trophies and Han’s Supra, a car we all go for free a while ago in one of the Fast & Furious event is able to get it for you. So, the prize car is a purple-star T4, but it’s a car you can get for free with little time invest and that makes it an interesting event to cover here for me.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again.

⚠️ Mercedes-Benz CLA 350 4MATIC T5 10.8x 12.2x Best Tune

The Audi is the fastest (if I am not wrong it was a Milestone Car in 2024ish) so if you have it you don’t need to build the Murcielago if you want to save up some cash after the event marathon we just had. The Jaguar can be a backup if you don’t have access to the Milestone Car and the Prestige Cup car, the CLA 350, will be far to slow to get you anywhere.

You need the car to finish ART5 Los Angeles as a lock-in car. The roaster is pretty alright-ish with plenty of options for everyone with car options that are in the game for a long time. Also, the prize car, the Chevrolet American Legends Chevelle ‘Phoenix’ is a 6.7xx second car so even without the event ahead it is quite a fast car.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again when the maxed players and modders are gone.

Radford Type 62-2 T5 7.1x 8.1x Best Tune
Chevrolet Label Motorsport Corvette C8 Z06 T5 7.6x 8.5x Best Tune

Quite a fair roaster and I honestly like that they pushed the Champions ShowDown more to be competitive with multiple cars rather than some of the crooked roaster we saw earlier this year. So, you probably have picked up a Zonda Cinque over the years and they all are re-skins of each other so they all run the same time and setup. If you got the Radford earlier this year through Crew Milestone that is also an option, the prestige Cup car is far behind unfortunately but if you have it maxed, you can still push quite a bit with it since the Zonda has a high performance-threshold (it needs quite a lot of Stage 6 upgrades to be able to run in the lower 7-seconds range) so a maxed Corvette can beat the Hondas that have 3-4 Stage 6 upgrades still.

Be aware this week that the Milestone Car from alst season, the 12Cilindri SPIDER is the slowest car here and not just a reskin of the regular 12Cilindri! So, do not build and upgrade it if you have any other car decently build. Also, the Shelby Super Snake is not the Elite Custom one, it’s the Prestige Cup car!

Very linear roaster here and actually if you do have the ABT RS6-R in good condition I would think about saving some cash with ART5 going on right now and skip building the Hyundai. The difference, unless you shoot for the stars with maxed cars here, is not that much and the Audi performs pretty well across the board here. By the way, don’t confuse the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N with the 5 N NPX1, they are two different cars int he game and funny enough the NPX1 version is a slight tad slower.

Very fair ShowDown roaster and if you got the Acura NSX here (was the Milestone Car in January 2023), you don’t need to build the Porsche 911 S/T.Both cars are really pretty much the same here to use. The Prestige Cup car is not competitive this season since it is the only T4 car in the roaster.

Ferrari 512 TR T5 7.5x 8.9x Best Tune
Dodge Viper GTS (SRII) T5 7.6x 8.6x Best Tune

You need to prize car for the final event of the 80s event but even if you just do it for fun, there is quite a lot of cars that will work. If you do the event, pick your CLK GTR and call it a day or you very likely have the 1992 NSX from the Elite Tuner chapter as well which runs below 7 seconds and since it is so widely-own by many players, this raises the bar a bit and makes it the car to have actually (my prediction). Please mind, cars not shown above are not able to get you the BMW M1.

By the way, the BMW M1 runs 6.8xx seconds seven if you do not care about the event, you should aim to get that car.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again when the maxed players and modders are gone.

This is a pretty straightforward roaster here with the Milestone Car behind on top, but only by a  margin so feel free to use the Elva instead. In terms of what Elva to use, in the realistic case you have both, the 2021 version is a lot faster without being maxed so check which one of them is further built in terms of Stage 6 parts. It has never been easier to build a sub-7-seconds T5 car in the game as now with the Ferrari and even with a Lamborghini Countach in your garage I would do it, just because it’s such a gorgeous and fast/easy car to have. Which of the two you take is down to which one you have built further since they are almost identical in performance. The Prestige Cup car is not worth taking since all the other cars even at Stage 5 will outrace it.

Porsche 911 GT2 T5 7.2x 8.6x Best Tune
Lamborghini Diablo SV T5 7.2x 8.3x Best Tune

You need to prize car for the new chapter of the 80s event but even if you just do it for fun, there is quite a lot of cars that will work. If you do the event, pick your CLK GTR and call it a day or you very likely have the 1992 NSX from the Elite Tuner chapter as well which runs below 7 seconds and since it is so widely-own by many players, this raises the bar a bit and makes it the car to have actually (my prediction). Please mind, cars not shown above are highly unlikely to get you the Toyota Trueno Sprinter

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again when the maxed players and modders are gone.

Nissan Z Proto T3 11.4x 13.8x Best Tune
Aston Martin DBX T4 11.4x 12.8x Best Tune

Actually a decent-ish roaster where you either use the Milestone Car from last season of if you are a veteran player you have the P1 surely in your garage to use so you don’t have to build the Milestone Car. The Prestige Cup car is not worth running here since it is a T3 but the DBX 707 was a Prestige Cup car already so maybe you can just use that one. I know not the fairest roaster here but one that will work for most players.

Weirdest roaster for a ShowDown since the Audi is the only T4 car that is actually running well here. And since that is the Prestige Cup Car the only valid car you should use.

Even if you do not participate in the Porsche Eminence Final Event, you can win a gorgeous Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) here that runs 6.8xx seconds and there are no overpowered cars in the roaster so even some Milestone/Prestige Cup cars from the past can get you the car! All cars are so close together, there is a lot you can win here and this is the most F2P ShowDown I can ever remember in the game so far for a main event.

It’s a T4 ShowDown but funny enough the only T3 car in the roaster is not the slowest. But that doesn’t actually make it all too competitive here but it’s good news for those who don’t have access to the previous milestone car as the Prestige Car is still somewhat alright.

To win the prize car, Porche 911 GT3 ‘Weissach Package’ for the Le Mans Main Event, there are actually several cars that have been available for free. I like the fact that the devs took the Lock In #1 roaster here and not the paid cars that will race everything into the ground so basically all players have a solid shot here. My advice here is to use the car you have upgraded to the closest time to 7.6 seconds and I think if you can do 7.8xx you have a very clean shot with enough races to get the prize car.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again when the maxed players and modders are gone.

The Prestige Cup car, the McLaren 2021 Elva is the fastest car here unless you have the purple star version of the Ultima Evolution fully maxed in your garage (mind that only the purple star version can compete, the regular version is significantly slower). So, Elva it is, easiest to build, fastest even with only Stage 5 parts and you need to build it anyways.

You might have a chance to pick up the Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider towards the end of the event with a maxed GT Zagato or maybe a maxed Superleggera Volante but early in the event you will have a rough time.

Outside the event the prize car is also not too interesting since we have so many variations of it already in the game and with a final time of 7.1xx it is also not really very fast and more like mediocre.

BMW M4 Competition T5 6.9x 8.9x Best Tune
…the T4 cars…

This is an interesting setup and a final big middle finger from the devs to the community… Ok, little trigger warning, if you hate my criticizing the game devs and you’re just here for the polished numbers: use the M4, it’s the only viable car.

For everyone else, here’s a little story time. The Elite Tuner events with new cars have been super popular when they came every 4-6 months and they have been fair. But in the last sprints the devs decided not only to put out the cars faster and faster (which nobody really would mind since the Elite Tuner cars are still, for me at least, the essence of the game and with more or all cars having bodykits making the game a ton better). The problem was that the devs started to make the prize hierarchy steeper, in other words you can’t finish the event without actually spending. And since the events are the only way to unlock the full customizations, it’s absolutely what you want as a player.

This also seemed to become a tool to keep the Elite Token pond empty, so regular players can’t really progress since the Elite Tuner chapters suck them dry, which also means practically never be able to fully finish he Elite Tuner mains storyline and get the old school Supra there.

So with the last round before the M4 Competition the community raised voices in boycotting the chapters unless the devs make some changes and this is where we are now. The devs simply shove down the M4 every Elite Tuner ShowDown as the apex car with norther viable car to force players not just to upgrade it but to actually max it out to stay somewhat competitive and this is something I personally find super off. Especially minding that if they would allow certain model cars here there would be competition. So bottom line they not just give all players a middle finger that want a break from the current formal of Elite Tuner chapters, they also show that they are well aware of the modern cars and keep them off ShowDowns where they want people to upgrade a certain car. And this fellow racers is something I find, in all understandings licensing and monetization, something really toxic for a community and that’s why I wanted to get this wrap-up out.

If you don’t car about that, no problem. But at least the story gets some exposure here and hopefully some changes happen in the future

Long story short for this ShowDown is use the Batur as you will build it for the Prestige Cup anyways. If you have a maxed COPO Camaro in your garage, great for you, that will rush everything the ground but if not don#t even bother too much. The T4 cars are also a waste of time here so none to upgrade the Audi Milestone Car I guess we will see that shine in a later T4 ShowDown in a few months when it is the Prestige Cup car.

Oh and little fun-fact on top of that… if you run the COPO Camaro ’50th Anniversary Edition’ which was a paid car a couple years ago, it runs 6.9xx seconds so nobody will even remotely have a chance against that.

My recommendation for most players is to use the Ford Mustang GT but you very likely need to wait out a few days so you will be able to beat the maxed paid cars out of the desired trophy range.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the cups needed. Also, thankfully they changed it back to 1400 trophies needed to get the prize car

Yeah… shove the M4 down our throats one more time before the next Elite Tuner event will start… I mean I likes the structure when it was like one Elite Tuner event ever 4-5 months but now they are really pushing it and also make the structure of the ShowDowns impossible for anyone to farm Elite Token. Sorry, but this is not cool and I heavily believe the devs did this because there was already movement in the community to boycott the Elite Tuner events in that frequency. Which I find sad since it’s such a cool mode with the body kits but the event structure simply got too steep…

Please mind, cars not listed here are not competitive and will not get you the reward car! You need 1400 cups to get the Pininfarina B95 to finish the Hypercar Fury (guide here). My recommendation for most players is to use the Koenigsegg Regera, it was broadly available and doesn’t require to be max Elite Custom like the 488 pista to run a good time.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the cups needed. Also, thankfully they changed it back to 1400 trophies needed to get the prize car

You need 1400 cups to get the Ford Ruffian Mustang ’67 to finish the Los Angeles Event (guide here). My recommendation for most players is to use the Ford Mustang GT (Elite Tuner), it’s easy  and reliable to drive and makes a 6.9xx which should be fast enough overall.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the cups needed. Also, thankfully they changed it back to 1400 trophies needed to get the prize car

All the T5 cars are so close to each other that it literally doesn’t matter which one you take – so you don’t have to build the Huracan Sterrato if you have one of the other ones already ready to go.

Update: The lamborghini Sterrato is on paper the fastest car but also incredible inconsistent with the needle drop at start so if you can avoid it, don’t use it in ShowDown you will do yourself a huge favor and save yourself a lot of cash upgrading it.

Same exact roaster as the 2nd Elite ShowDown in October. Clear Apex car with the Elite Tuner, but the modded S7 can reach that time so be aware of that. The other cars a re by far not enough and by now most player should have finished their Z NISMOs where they run the good times with it.

Realistically you have two options here – one is if you have the Atlantic Concept built you can use it, the difference is very small. If not, there’s not going to be much around building the 2021 Elva. The other cars are all significantly slower and will not get you into the good rewards…

Please mind, cars not listed here are not competitive and will not get you the reward car!

You need 1700 cups to get the Plymouth Notorious to finish the Las Vegas Event (guide here) and actually it’s a 7.1xx seconds car overall which is not too bad. My recommendation for most players is to use the Ford Mustang GT (Elite Tuner), it’s eas yna dreliable to drive and makes a 6.9xx which should be fast enough overall.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the cups needed. Overall, it will not be too easy as the devs changed the cups to 1700 instead of 1400 before and also with a 6.9xx car that so many players have sitting around it will not be easier.

Pretty clear roaster here with the previous Milestone Car clear top with 0.3 seconds of lead so if you want to finish high in this ShowDown you need to build it. If not, well, the Lamborghini and the PRestige Cup car, the Porsche 718, are so close to each other that usiing the Porsche will be the car of choice for pretty much all players (also because it’s easiert to drive). The Audi is so far behind, do not even bother.

Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing T4 10.0x 11.2x Best Tune

Super funky roaster with the slow T5 car of the Prestige Cup, naturally, being the fastest car so no need to use any other car. I am a bit sad since I love the LB Works Countach and hoped to have a chance upgrading it but with the new American Roadtrip Event going ons aving up some cash isn’t the worst either. I don’t want to spread this as a rumour but every time a super uninteresting and slow T5 is the Prestige Cup car where players might think about skipping it, the devs seem to push a roaster like this in ShowDown to still make everyone upgrade it.

Porsche 911 R T5 7.8x 10.4x Best Tune
Lamborghini Huracan Coupe T5 7.8x 9.8x Best Tune

You need 1400 cups to get the Aspark Owl to finish the Hypercar Forum Event (guide here) and actually it’s a 6.8xx seconds car which makes it one of the best ShowDown prize cars overall. So far so good, but then look at the roaster you actually need either the Devel Sixteen or the Countach to have a chance to get it – for those of you who do finish the Hypercar Forum event, no problem since you need the cars there anyway. But hard for F2P unless you go lucky enough at one point to pull the Countach. Or you pull in this event. I think towards the end of the event you might have a shot with a fully maxed Pista Spider, though.

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the 1400 cups needed.

I am still a little torn between if I like this new feature or not, but I guess let them test it out and see what the final collections will look like. (In case you don’t even know what I’m talking about… collections is a new feature the devs are testing right now which is in beta test, so not all player have access to it).

This is a wild roaster with the top cars being 1 second faster than the other cars. I mean if you got the Aurora Tur you want to max it out, it’s a great car so this event is great for pulling the crates for all the Stage 6 parts and then let it roll.

Elite ShowDown (September 12th, 2024)

This is a wild roaster and might actually give you quite some homework here what car to pick if you don’t own a maxed 488 Pista Spider including the EC levels – I would actually recommend you to take the Subaru since it is quite quick even when not maxed and you have to build it anyway completely to maxed Elite Level for the event series at one point, so every invest here will pay off.

Jaguar F-TYPE R Convertible T5 8.0x 9.1x Best Tune

Honestly, this is how the roaster of the Champions ShowDown should look like to be fair – the previous Milestone car (Porsche Taycan) is the fastest car but there is another option to compete with it (McLaren). So you can build the car if you want a small edge but also you don’t have to. The Prestige Cup car is significantly slower. The McLaren 765LT was featured quite a lot over the past years so chances are high you don’t have to build the Taycan unless you want to, which makes this a fair event looking at how you obtain those cars.

You need 1400 cups to get the Corvette C4 to finish the 90s Rewind Final Event (guide here) and the car roaster is a blessing and a curse since you have the McLaren F1 there basically as the apex car. Most players that play CSR2 for longer have it fully maxed which puts other players in a horrible position. Don’t think about trying to win the prize car with any non-T5 car and I am sure you need a time towards 7.3xx second to get it (only my feeling).

Remember! The time needed to win the prize car gradually goes down, so if you can’t get it in the early days of the ShowDown event, try on the last 1-2 days again and you have it easier to get the 1400 cups needed.

Nissan Pandem Skyline GT-R (BCNR33) T4 9.9x 11.4x Best Tune

A pretty fair ShowDown here with several cars being close together. Yes, the Prestive Cup car is not competitive but that is no surprise but I think most of you guys have one of the T5 cars available and if you do, you don’t even hae to build the previous Milestone Car, which I believe is very fair. I really wish we would see more of those Champion ShowDown roasters in the future.

Chevrolet 2020 Corvette Stingray T4 9.8x 11.0x Best Tune

This is going to be a wild ride… the officially fastest car is the Elite Tuner GR Supra and since pretty much every player that players a little longer has it maxed, the roaster will be stuffed with it – the the Ferrari is a modder car. Please report if your opponent uses this car and runs faster than the 7.4 seconds as this means they clearly cheat. The T4 cars don’t have much relevance here, also given the fact that the fastest car is so broadly available among players.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio T3 11.2x 13.9x Best Tune

If you think this is a mistake here, believe it. The developers have a T3 Milestone Car and other T3 cars but since the current Prestige Cup car is T5 they only have that in the roaster without any other T5 car – which leads to the funky result that the Prestige Cup car, although being a horribly slow T5 car, outrunning all the T3 cars by a mile easily. The good news here is, you can save up some resources to build the new Elite Tuner car as this will be the apex car in the upcoming Elite ShowDown in Season 210. I have said it before, although we see some cool cars as Milestone Cars that are T3, it will mess up the roasters for ShowDown so much that the devs should just stop making T3 cars Milestone Cars and flat out the pattern between T4 and T5 cars… but I mean after years I just don’t think they ever will and I can only assume that they have it in their agreements with the manufacturers that they have to feature the car somehow in the game (only my assumption that would at least explain this somehow, I have no insights on this!).

Update! Also the special edition of the Ultima, the Ultima Evolution Coupe Supercharged, is in the roaster. It was only available in packs and in the Evo Cup and it runs a time of 7.1xx so even with the purple Ultima Evolution Coupe you are hopelessly behind here. My advice for this ShowDown is to lay your head down and do what you can but there is no way you can be competitive without that car…

Technically the McLaren will be a great choice for most players, but be aware that there are some cars (don’t want to specifically name the one) that is used heavily by modders so be prepared to see some wild matchings (and please report the player that run any other car than the McLaren below 7 seconds!).

Either upgrade the Atlantic Conept or use the Regera. I think the Regera is sitting in most garages after being featured in Race Pass and multiple events over the past years. Mind that the Nissan is the 2021 version and not the older one! The Prestige Cup car is worthless in this event.

Honestly, I do not understand why the devs don’t simply have the same tier cars for Prestige Cup and as Milestone car… would make things less messy. In this case, we have the Prestige Cup car as T5 car as the fastest car so there is literally no point in upgrading the Z NISMO. Basically free for all, which is great for the majority of players. This is one of the rare cases where it works inf favor of F2P, so don’t bother and simply max out the Prestige Car for free and you’re good to go.

The battle here is pretty clear, but that is normal if we have a T5 Milestone car in the previous season and a T4 Prestige Cup car in the current one – the T5 cars are the only viable options and you can think about investing into the Batur if you have the Fenyr Supersport (hosten in so many events so far) pretty maxed since their final times aren’t that crazy away from each other.

Porsche Carrera GT T5 7.5x 11.1x Best Tune
… the other cars without distinct order…

You need 1400 cups to get the BMW 1990 M3 to finish the Retro Revival Event and the car roaster is a blessing and a curse since you have the McLaren F1 there basically as the apex car and most players that playfor longer have it fully maxed which puts other players in a awkward position.

Without going into too much detail here – this is probably the most shocking modder roster for a ShowDown we’ve ever had. I try to not motivate by telling which cars are “great” for modding, but expect as a fair player to get beaten badly in this ShowDown and think about investing more effort into the event ShowDown (above)…

Please mind! If you see modders (if you race against certain Elite Custom cars that beat their times shown above significantly, make sure to report them). Also, the Prestige Cup car is T4 and has no chance at all here.

This is the first time for a very long time that I actually love the roaster of the ShowDown and wish the devs would make it like that all the time. All cars are close enough together, the Milestone Car has a slight advantage but not too great so every player can think about saving the upgrade costs and then two filler cars that also run around the same time. This is going to be a fair and fun ShowDown for most players and I really hope to see those more in the future!

I am not surprised they push the current Tuner Challenge car, the 1992 Honda, a little more in ShowDown to make you max it out. Not saying it is a bad thing and it’s a cool car, just makes it often such a modder galore that it is frustrating. If you are not there yet you can also run the previous Elite Tuner car, the Corvette, the times are more or less the same when maxed.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante T5 7.6x 9.1x Best Tune
Aston Martin One-77 T5 8.1x 9.1x Best Tune

In short, this will be a tough ShowDown as the players that want and need the car here to finish the Beyond Aston Hill Event will all have the cars that run below 7.xxx seconds so this leaves every other players with cars that are almost half a second slower.

As expected with a new Elite Tuner Challenge, the very car will be featured right away in the Elite ShowDown and dominate there so every player is getting ‘motivated’ (blackmailed) in maxing it out right away. I mean using the ELite Tuner Challenge to build the car is always worth it and the car is nice, but with all the other events going on it’s quite expensive. Still, if you have the cash and some time go ahead and get it worked on as much as possible as even maxed Stage 5 it will be quite fast.

Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing T4 9.9x 11.2x Best Tune

With the Cadillac as Prestige Cup car being a solid T4 car, I actually hoped we can see quite a balanced roaster… but the devs thought instead “why not put two extremely fast T5 cars in there that run significantly below 7 seconds to beat up every player that doesn’t have them”. Even. the Mercedes here is just a little spray paint, since the Rimac and the Hennessey are without full Stage 5 upgrades faster than the Mercedes and the Cadillac fully maxed. Is it because the Easter Event is accessible for many players they thought to make a P2W ShowDown?

Don’t get me wrong, nothing against players that spend money to have them, not at all – I just would like to see a roaster that is competitive enough for the majority of players and this is just sending players without the Rimac and Hennesey with a knife to a gunfight. Actually more like a spoon…

Ford Mustang GT Premium T3 12.8x 14.9x Best Tune

You want to take one of the T4 cars. Not just because they are significantly faster, T3 cars are simply not done for half-mile races so I highly discourage you to upgrade and put Elite Token into the T3 cars here as this is a hopeless battle since every Stage 5 T4 will outrun them and those cars are sitting maxed in so many garages. If you’re not sure if you build up the Vantage or the Silvia, I’d go with the Silvia if you really want to simply because it’s used more often in ShowDown (but often at the lower end of the roaster, even in T4 ShowDowns). Honestly if you don*t have them built I’d take it slow on this ShowDown and not increase Elite Custom levels.

Hyundai Elantra N T3 13.2x 14.7x Best Tune

Super funky roaster here with T3 cars (also because the previous Milestone Car was a T3 car) with the current T5 Prestige Cup car in there which is just so much faster that it makes little sense to run or build any other car – even though the Jaguar is a very slow T5 car overall.

The good news for you is that you get a ton of free crates to easily build the Jaguar for the Prestige Cup, with the downside that you need to build a very slow T5 car that has no relevance at all in the game. I personally really don’t understand why they still do T3 cars as Milestone Cars as there will always be a wonky successing season in terms of ShowDown, but that is just my personal opinion.

Please also mind that the times above are for maxed E.C. Level 50 so if you don’t have invested many token the order can change. From E.C 0 to 50 the difference is about 0.4 seconds for each car to give you an idea (except the Camaros SS which gains from Elite Custom 0 to 50 whopping 0.7s of total time boost from the extra fusion parts). Other than that, the hierarchy is pretty clear what car to pick and as upgrades for T3 cars aren’t that expensive maxing Stage parts is easily worth it – just don’t invest too many Tuner Token as T3 cars are rarely worth maxing.

I don’t know what happened with the devs that nobody checked the roaster for final times, but the current Prestige Cup car, the Porsche 911 Speedster is the only T5 car in the roaster making it, although it is a pretty slow T5 car, still the fastest car. And it’s in the game a long time so expect so many players to have it built already and just max it out with the free crates during the Prestige Cup. I don’t see any point why you would want to build the Ferrari Purosange at this point…

This wil be a very nerve-wrecking Elite ShowDown (read below why):

Nissan Silvia (S15) Rocket Bunny T4 10.3x 13.1x Best Tune

So, thext chapter of Izzy’s Tuner series is up with the McLaren 720S and the devs decided to throw that car right into the roaster for this ShowDown which means you can expect a ton of modders showing off their skills of adding additional fusion parts to it…

I recommend to not investing too crazy here to keep up and simply take it as you can.

Nissan 2017 GT-R (R35) T5 7.1x 8.8x Best Tune
Chevrolet COPO Camaro T5 7.4x 8.4x Best Tune

In short, this will be a tough ShowDown as the players that want and need the car here to finish the Battle for Vegas Event will all have the cars that run below 6.7xx seconds so this leaves every casual player (and that is already a stretch) with cars like the maxed Mustang GT or 2023 Corvette at 6.9xx seconds so it will be tough for even those players to get the prize car. Possible, but tough grind.

I haven’t listed the T4 and T3 cars above as they will not even remotely stand a chance, but if you want to get their tune please look the up in my chart of all the cars in CSR2 here.

All cars here, have maxed, pretty much the same time but as many players have either their Super Snake or LB Huracan maxed, this can also be a long grind if you haven’t maxed any of the cars to run the 7.4xx time…

It’s incredible how the Milestone Car will dominate here and if you’re not building it – which I can totally understand – you can honestly only run the Jaguar which was Prestige/Milestone car quite a while ago. The T4 options here are so much slower that you will struggle to get very far with them

Porsche Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo T4 10.0x 12.0x Best Tune

The super interesting thing here, is – the Stage 5 times are the complete opposite so if you have the Ferrari 296 GTS without Stage 6 parts and the Lamboghinis without Stage 6 parts, they will outperform the Ferrari heavily. This means only go with the Ferrari if you have at least 4 Stage 6 parts installed!

Porsche 911 4S Cabriolet T4 10.2x 12.4x Best Tune
Jeep Gladiator ‘Rubicon’ T4 10.2x 11.7x Best Tune

With all cars here being T4 cars, the best bet will either be the previous season Milestone Car (Nissan Pandem) or the Hyundai if you got one of them. At the end it comes down to what car you have upgraded further so even if you have the Porsche or the Jeep maxed out you might rather take them than fully building the faster cars unless you are willing to pull the Stage 6 upgrades or already have quite a bunch of them.

I guess for most players the Shelby Super Snake is the best choice simply as it’s featured that frequently that building it is worth it and most players did. Investing into the Legends cars to max out is for most players not worth it.

Ford Mustang 10th Anniversary Edition RTR Spec 5 T5 7.3x 9.0x Best Tune
Shelby Super Snake T5 7.4x 9.9x Best Tune

This is a very easy and tough ShowDown at the same time – easy because the Elite Tuner cars are available to everyone and for most players also well-upgraded so every player can access this event – and that makes it rough as so many players have cars in their garage sitting that can go 6.9 seconds that it will simply be a rough grind and I think it will be tough to even reach the trophies needed for the AMX Javelin with a car like the Shelby Super Snake…

Shelby Super Snake T5 7.4x 9.0x Best Tune
Jaguar XJ220 T5 7.4x 7.9x Best Tune

If you have build the 2020 Corvette through the Izzy Tuner Event a while ago, you have easily the best car here and the other cars run pretty similar times so there is no tremendous difference and you should pick the one you have upgraded the furthest.

Dodge LB SRT Hellcat T3 13.5x 14.2x Best Tune

The interesting part here is, probably due to the fact that they build the roaster by dyno time, that the Prestige Car is by far the fastest car so you don’t even have to build the M3 and can run the car you already have.

Nissan Silvia (S15) Rocket Bunny T4 10.3x 13.1x Best Tune

The Lamborghini will dominate so much here that you need to run it, no matter what, if you want to get a decent rank. It’s also a decent long-term investment as you see it in Elite ShowDown frequently. The T4 cars are quite close to each other and can be your backup choice if you don’t have the Lamborghini but they get used very rarely for the past year in Elite ShowDown after being very frequent cars before, so investing heavily into them (especially Elite Levels) is not that well-recommended.

The Summit Finale ShowDown (August 22nd, 2023)

To win the 1300 cups price car for the Event (guide here), you need to run either of the T5 cars, they all run around the same time so pick the one you have upgraded the most. I will update the tunes in the next days so you will see them when the event starts.

Litte annotation regarding the Viper Snakeskin Edition – this is not a new car it’s in the game for 5 years and it runs very slow (was handed out like 2 years ago as a free car in an event) and there’s no way that you will get the prize car with it, so save yourself the cash upgrading it unless you really want to.

Jaguar XE SV Project 8 T4 10.5x 12.9x Best Tune

If you don#t have/want to upgrade the Milestone Car from previous season (DBX 707), then it doesn’t matter too much which car you will take as their times are all pretty similar. The Jaguar is pretty funky to drive and unreliable so I’d recommend either the Mach-E or the Alfa Romeo.

Due to the ways dyno tiimes run the Milestone Car will NOT be the apex car for the upcoming Champion ShowDown so check if you have the Lamborghini in your garage and you might be able to skip upgrading the (in my personal opinion) rather boring new Corvette version and save up some cash for the current events.

Unless you have the Milestone Car from previous season and want to max it out – the best bet will be the SLR 722 that we all got last year for the anniversary as Milestone Car a lot easier so most players have it and already upgraded it. It will be almost the same performance as the Nissan but saving you quite some cash to upgrade.

The GR Supra is the first car in the Elite Tuner trials and most players should have it maxed out by now – I don’t think it makes any sense to use any other card for the ShowDown, especially as the gap between the GR Supra and the Mustangs is so big.

If you have the Pagani Zonda Cinque from a couple of seasons ago, you an run it as it was the Milestone car and you probably won’t have to invest much cash and safe it for events and still get quite far in this ShowDown.

If not, the Venom GT Spyder might be a great choice here as well before you dump the millions of cash into the Ferrari Milestone Car from last season. The times aren#t that crazy different unless you look at the very final times with maxed cars.

The top cars are all quite close together so use the one you have at the highest Elite Level (you should have all Stage 6 parts at this point as they are mid-field cars in many Elite ShowDowns so you got plenty of parts for them already). I wouldn’t invest much in them as they will normally not be top cars in most Elite ShowDowns so use what you have without spending Elite Token on them.

With all T3 cars and a very clear hierarchy, this ShowDown will require you to build the Milestone Car from previous season or you will not be able to compete that well. If you want to save some resources you might also want to skip but building a T3 car, at least, is not that expensive.

To win the 1300 cups price car for the Event (guide here), you should either have one of the event cars or you need a maxed Elite Custom car from the 911 R, 488 Pista Spider or Lamborghini Huracan. This is probably the way for most players to go.

Are you ready for the weirdest ShowDown roaster? Well, I hope you are as we have all the four cars featured running times so close to each other that you should run the ones that you have upgraded the most – and as the Audi R8 was featured twice in prestige Cup, I assume this will be the car most players have upgraded the most at this point.

The Lamborghini will probably be the best choice for most players as we all got it free for several occasions and it is featured as apex car so many times that so many of us have it either high or maxed. Alternatively, you can use the Ferrari if you have it maxed.

The LB NSX should only be your backup in case you’re missing the T5 cards and don#t invest any Elite Custom levels in it anymore, it is simply not worth it we haven’t seen it as a top car in ShowDown for more than a year!

As the Noble M600 Speedster, the current Prestige Cup car, is the only T5 car it is the APEX car that will be working best – so don’t invest in any other car here and take the cheap opportunity to get far while also getting a ton of parts for the Prestige Cup at the same time.

Tip To Win More In ShowDown In CSR2

ShowDown Events work different from normal Live Races in CSR2 and I want to give you some insights that will help you understand how you can do better, even if you have one of the slower cars.

ShowDown Matchmaking

Matchmaking in ShowDown is pretty easy – you will get matched against a player that has the same amount of trophies as you.

This is important to understand because right after the start you will also see people with a lot faster cars racing against you, simply due to the fact that they haven’t gotten the chance to get more trophies so far. As time goes by the faster cars will be higher and the slower cars lower.

So, the best strategy to actually do ShowDown races will be in the later days of the ShowDown Event and not right at the start, because that’s the time when it becomes easier. The longer a ShowDown Event lasts the easier you can do that. Some last 2 days (which is not much time for the faster cars to move up in trophies) and some do 7 days (where you have at least 3-4 days left with the harder opponents out of your sight).

Winning/Losing Streaks

There are people that swear this happens but there’s no hard evidence for an algorithm that will send you on a losing streak against someone with a faster car once you’ve won a couple of races in a row.

Why am I writing this then? Well, there have been some strategies to only do 2-3 races every hour and then stop to prevent this. I personally never do this and use all my attempts I have to get the best result possible and I also don’t recommend you to waste time not using all your races.

The more races you do the better your chances to get higher the ladder, that’s it. If there’s no clear evidence that there’s a losing streak algorithm in ShowDown I will update this here, of course 🙂

But, hey, if you see that you lost a couple of races in a row it’s probably time to make a break to wait until those faster cars left your trophy range so you will see more opponents that you can beat. I think it’s more about if you gotten too fast into a trophy range that you can’t beat will catch you here and not the game sending you to lose on purpose.

Conclusion

No win trading? No lobbies & down tuning? Rewards for better times? ShowDown looks promising to become a new fun and also fair game mode – as long as you do define the term “fair” to not gaining any unfair advantage away from having a better car. Of course, those with the stronger cars will be in favor here and take away the higher perks.

  1. Hey, this is AJ & the 11.950 1/2-mile time that is listed isn’t the fastest time for the (Fully Maxed out) Vorsteiner Cayman GT4 V-CS anymore on this weeks Showdown Event (#129.)

I’ve been running consistent 11.516 to 11.590 1/2 miles times since it started (I’ve got videos.)
Unless the cars 1/2-mile time got bumped up by NaturalMotion that means I should hold the WR for the car! Please, correct me if I’m wrong…
    Thanks,
    -AJ

  2. I think you have the date wrong in the heading for the latest showdown cars. Season 128 is May 13th not April 13th.

  3. Worst competition ever in CSR2.
I hope they’ll quit this SHITdown, ’cause it’s ridiculous without a proper moderation… too many cheaters, autotouch, autobot, disconnection trick, rank 100 with full maxed Top 10 Purple Stars cars… come on, it’s a true SHIT.
I appreciate your suggestions, but it’s all in vain in these pathetic conditions.

  4. These are pretty rigged. When I get above 300 trophies I can’t win because the people the game puts me up against are too OP. Once I lose a bunch of trophies it starts to put me in more fair races but then I get obliterated again once I get above 300 trophies. I’d rather deal with a few cheaters in the live races if it means I get to pick who I’m going up against and stand more of a chance of winning.

  5. So the Bugatti veryron event is pretty cool, but it damn near impossible. In showdown I hate how I can’t get past 500 trophies. I’m rank 57 and I’m getting matched with players of rank 700 and 500 and what not, and they do half miles in like 7-9 seconds lol. Like how is that even fair? My goal is to just get to 1200 trophies for the super sport but seriously I don’t think I’ll be able to achieve that ever with the kind of people that I get matched with. Kind of ridiculous.

  6. A thing i have noticed since I’ve been playing couple of showdown so far, is that it’s always easier at end of the event (couple hours before clock ends) to progress in trophy rewards. I mean, probably that more people have been playing along during the event and you have more chance to find an easier opposent to win for the same amount of trophy. Did you notice this stuff as well?

    1. Yes that‘s true because the strong players that tend to be also the active ones are out of the way in the lower areas

  7. It’s not letting me collect trophies… I win, click next buttons and it shows no other opponents. And send me back to the map with 0 trophies in my bank… cant get anything accomplished

  8. Beware of player “DANCRO W/L”
He’s a cheater using the disconnection trick in ShowDown.
In reality he’s a very poor player that without this trick would not even arrive in the first 1000.
    Report him to NM.

  9. There seems to be a very awful trait to the showdown . Once you reach a certain volume of trophies it seems you are destined to stay there, win one loose three and enter the eternal loop of wasted gas and loosing to cars with over a second advantage in their final time. I’m not truly a fan of having to repeatedly loose.

  10. 7.513 in rouche it’s pabzy csr 2 maniac I can get it perfect start fly back needle nos in 4 th coming forward rest deep good nos 436/5.9-fd 2.76-0/100 thank me later ok

  11. Hi I’m asking regarding my game sending me to the map saying check out showdown but there is no showdown when I get there. Please help

      1. If I finish myself 200 times and stay hard in the first 1,000 to win, but the competition continues and they take me out of the top thousand, can I get hard? Or what do i do? I finish a moment before the end of the competition or what? Thank you, and there are several blondes that are below the maximum record ???? you can’t beat them like this (jizz)

  13. I have been using the Pagani Zonda in Live Racing for a very long time now. I can run 7.18xxx in Live Races consistently. In the Showdown however my Zonda can run NO FASTER then 7.20xxx And that was a fluke. Most of my races are between 7.22xxx – 7.30xxx in the Showdown. While guys are running 7.182xx in the Showdown I find this very hard to believe they are doing this without a mod or hack of some kind. Shame.

    1. Do you run the 347/4.0 nitro, 2.45 final drive and 0/100 tires tuning? This is the tune that allows 7.180s (fastest possible)
But, yes, it’s weird that you have slower times there than in Live Racing, can’t actually think of any other explenation 🙁

  14. im doing Beta Showdown today, something I have noticed and im sure others will too, is that for now in manufacturer specific. now that doesn’t bother me but I could see that showdown is very lopsided, in most of the races there is absolutely no way that the losing racer would have ever had a chance to win. the matches should be closer to what kind of performance the cars can do, similar to the way the live lobbies are. I mean in what world would you want to spend your gold for fuel to race a race that your car is 3 full seconds slower than your competitor.

    1. The initial idea is to remove all “lopsiding” that is happening with breaking dyno times and lobbies that you know from Live Races by taking the raw performance of a car and the trophies earnt in a ShowDown event.
Theoretically this helps but in reality the faster ones do dominate early while the slower ones will suffer early – I also hope that there will be some sort of pre-determination as well in the beginning so these unbeatable races won’t occur that much
