Hela Discard Deck Guide – MARVEL SNAP

The mother of all discard decks and super viable. You discard with Lady Sif, Sword Master and Hell Cow and then try to get Ghost Rider and Hela on the board to bring (hopefully powerful cards you discarded) back on the board.

In this guide you’ll learn everything about the Hela Discard deck, including some replacements, and what lines to play and everything else you need. If you want to see what decks are crushing the meta right now in MARVEL Snap, please refer to my weekly updated meta decks guide here.

Card Strategy for the Hela Discard Deck

Blade is a great discard on Turn 1 or later if you have one unspent energy – espcially if you don’t have Hela in your hand. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Blade here.
Morbius gains a lot of power when you discard cards and with all the discard cards along MODOK he can scale towards 10+ power easily and as you play him early you don’t have to mind much about him in the later turns. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Morbius here.
Invisible Woman is incredible to play discarding cards after and then play Hela as the last card in her location. This will discard all your cards in your hand and then Hela will bring all of them back at the end and there’s not much your opponent can do about it (except playing Cosmo in that location). Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Invisible Woman here.
Lady Sif is an easy discard that helps you gain discarded cards to bring back through Ghost Rider and/or Hela and great if you don’t have Hela in your hand (or with Hela and Death in your hand also a great way to protect your Hela). Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Lady Sif here.
Sword Master has decent power and the discarding can go well, too. Is sometimes a risk with Hela in hand but that’s a risk you have to deal with any Hela/Discard deck. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Sword Master here.
Hellcow discards two cards and is a great card to play behin Invisible Woman to make sure the discarding will not accidentially hit a card you don’t want to discard by accident. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Hellcow here.
Captain Marvel is a great card to get through Jubilee but also actively played solid and can win you quite a number of matches. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Captain Marvel here.
MODOK is THE card to discard your full hand behind Invisible Woman and then bring everything back with hela afterwards. Only play MODOK behind Invisible Woman or you can easily discard everything you might need. Also scales up Morbius by a lot. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with MODOK here.
Hela is the core card here, with many cards discarded play her on Turn 6 and you have almost always a victory but also be ready to retreat if things don’t move your way. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Hela here.
Magneto helps finding your win condition actively by moving around opponent cards or simply a card to discard and then return with Hela. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Magneto here.
The Infinaut is a geat card to discard or to pull through Jubilee with this deck, don’t aim to play it directly as skipping Turn 5 will put you behind your opponent massively. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with The Infinaut here.
Death is a grat card to discard and bring back through Ghost Rider/Hela, pull on the board through Jubilee or simply use her to protect your Hela when using Lady Sif if you have both in your hand. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Death here.
