Is Venom A Good Card in MARVEL SNAP?

Venom eats through cards and gains all their power and if you can combine that with cards that benefit from being destroyed, you can scale up Venom a lot. Also a useful card to ‘wrap up’ multiple cards to become one to gain more space in a location..

Venom in the current meta: The only real way to play Venom is playing him in a destroy deck and, yet, he’s a powerful card but has the problem to normally scale up to a lot of power and that invites Shang-Chi to take him down so several turns of combos are done for nothing in a single turn..

Good Synergies with Venom

**Typhoid Mary** can be fed into Venom as well as you will gain the power but get rid of her negative ability. Read more about playing Typhoid Mary here.

**Red Skull** works the same way as Typhoid Mary and by taking that +2 power away from all opposing cards, you can take over a location your opponent might have counted as their own already. Read more about playing Red Skull here.

**Taskmaster** is a nice duplicator for Venom. You can let Venom eat through many cards and scale him up to become a powerful card and then play Taskmaster on the next turn to copy that power to another location. Read more about playing Taskmaster here.

**Arnim Zola** is the biggest scaler for Venom as you will destroy him and place him in the other two locations. This is already viable as you will only have Venom in that location to play Arnim Zola on. Now that very Venom will get played in the other locations WITH the power he already has (so you can copy a 10-power Venom) and then he will eat through those locations as well to scale up even higher. **Death** gains energy reduction when you eat through cards with Venom so she gets cheaper. Read more about playing Death here.

**Nimrod** is another solid synergy card with VEnom as you can absorb the +5 (or more) power Nimrod has and then create duplicates – basically Venom on top of Nimrod is triple the power Nimrod has and it will be in all three locations. Read more about playing Nimrod here.

Deathpool Venom DestroyB
Using many destroy synergies, this deck can devlop a lot of power and also handle quite some controlling locations and cards your opponent might throw your way. Overall also a ton of fun to play when you scale up your cards well.Future Prediction: This deck is back into viable meta decks a little bit by surprise but the fact that you can use Bast to scale up your low-power cards before starting to use their destroy synergies can develop crazy power accross the board.How to play this deck
Nimrod Destroy
Revolve around using your negative Goblin cards to clogg up one location of your opponent to play Galactus in on Turn 6. Then play Nimrod in another location, ideally scaling him up through Shuri and use Wolverine as well on the right location or the lcoation left of Galactus to make sure he will jump into it.Meta Dependency: Can be quite predictable with the Goblins, Wolverine, Nimrod down, but with ARnim Zola, you still have a backdoor to play on Turn 6 if Galactus doesn't seem to do the trick.How to play this deck
Deadpool VS Nimrod
A very interesting deck that buffs up Deadpool early and then you have a lot of backup lines to play into. You can use Shuri then to buff up either Deadpool further for Arnim Zola or work into Nimrod or Black Panther. Keep in mind, if you use Shuri into Nimrod, he will become a 10-power card, Then Arnim Zola on top of him will make 10-power copies into all other locations + play another 10-power version of him there as well.Meta Dependency: A very interesting approach of a deck that ahs so many lines to play and uses Shuri well to get some good punch on the board a the end.How to play this deck
