The BEST Red Skull Decks in MARVEL SNAP

marvel snap best red skull decks april 2023

Are you looking for a deck that you can play with Red Skull in it in Marvel Snap? Red Skull can open up some interesting possibilities so I feel you will like this guide here – please mind, this guide here is getting the good decks directly from my popular meta decks list and gets updated each time I update my meta decks (at last once or twice per week), so you will never find any outdated decks here that are not flagged as old and outdated.

Is Red Skull A Good Card in MARVEL SNAP?

Red Skull provides 12 power for 5 energy and can make a great push, however, he will buff up enemy cards on the other side of the location by +1 power so technically he can also be a 5/9 card. Still there are ways to use his in your favor or ways to play around it to make him a great investment to play..

Red Skull in the current meta: Control decks are in the meta right now and Red Skull is a card with a plain power-push that either goes well with control effects or can play around them for a nice power-push so absolutely a card you’ll see frequently these days..

Good Synergies with Red Skull

Zero goes so well with Skill as he will remove his ability and turn him into a plain 12-power card. You can also play Zero and Red Skull together on Turn 6 for a good push. Read more about playing Zero here.
Shuri can double the power and turn Red Skull into a 24-power card so his negative ability doesn’t matter. Even buffing your opponent’s card at this location by up to +4 in total, that still gets you 22 more power. Read more about playing Shuri here.
Sauron can remove the nagative ongoing ability of Red Skull altogether so you can drop him comfortably as a 12-power card on Turn 5 without any negative effects for your. Read more about playing Sauron here.
Typhoid Mary is not directly a synergy card but a similar card to Red Skull that benefits the same from Zero in your deck, so building a deck with Red Skull makes sense to run Zero and that goes well with Typhoid Mary, too. Read more about playing Typhoid Mary here.
Enchantress is not just a great card to block your opponents ongoing effects, she can also block the ones you don’t like on your cards and remove the enemy buff from Red Skull. Also a great pair with Typhoid Mary. Read more about playing Enchantress here.
Taskmaster will take Red-Skulls power without his ability so can be easily your Turn 6 card after Red Skull to get decent power on the board without any downside. Read more about playing Taskmaster here.
Shang-Chi might not sound like a good pair at first (more like a counter, which he is), but you can use Red Skull on a location where your enemy cards have 7 or 8 power, buff them up and then use Shang-Chi to destroy them in the next turn. Especially today where many players mind staying below the 9-power gap as so many people carry Shang-Chi this is a strong move. Read more about playing Shang-Chi here.

  • Shuri SauronB
With Shuri you can still build a lot of power and although itÄs more predictable, it still works and unless your opponent has something to directly counter in his hand, this deck is still alive and working.Future Prediction: Shuri Zero can still get you results but is more a niche deck to play in the current metaHow to play this deck
  • Zerocula
This deck has two sides that you normally don't see together, the Zoo aspect with many cards that get buffed up but also the high-power push cards towards the end, giving your opponent a hard time to deal with in Marvel Snap. With Zero you can also play your Red Skull without buffing up your enemy or your Infinaut despite played a card on Turn 5. Dracula can become a little bit of a gamble but if you see you have your high-power cards in your hand at Turn 4 it's worth gicing it a shot.Future Prediction: We haven't heard much of this deck recently but it seems that Dracula along other cards gained some momentum after the recent balance changes. How to play this deckMore Ongoing Decks
  • Shuri Nimrod Ramp
This Shuri deck version incorporates Nimrod to scale up as well and givey ou more flexible lines to play towards the end.Future Prediction: Shuri is pretty strong and with Nimrod you gain a ton of flexibility here. Not on top of the meta but if you like Shuri and want to play Nimrod you can make this deck work. How to play this deck
  • Ongoing Destroyer
The Destroyed Deck was always fun as you have this crazy push towards the end that turns around so much. Armor is very important to gain the lead in one location or Cosmo to prevent Destroyer to wipe out but still have the high power.Future Prediction: Not the latest deck and around for quite some time and working well but struggles more and more with the newer decks I recently added as they will compete for all locations and the Destroyer sometimes just doesn't have enough power to gain that win condition.More Destroy Decks
  • Sauron Sees All
Similar to the Shuri Zero deck, Sauron makes a great addition with some small changes so you can use all cards that have an ongoing effect that has a negative impact as Sauron will clear it.Future Prediction: Pretty strong but most synergies come from the way Shuri interacts with certain cards, so this deck does naturally well. It depends a lot on Sauron to be played but you can still make it work without him but as a new card you should always be a little cautious so I ranked it slightly lower than the Shuri zero deck. How to play this deck
  • ZabuCula
With Zabu pushing so many 4-cost cards, you can bring a lot action by Turn 5 here and then still push further with high-power cards.Future Prediction: Same as all Zabu decks in the meta right now, as long as Zabu won't get nerfed, they will remain really strong. How to play this deckMore Zabu Decks
