Budget Ongoing Deck Guide – MARVEL SNAP

Play as many cards as you can early and then buff them up with the higher-cost cards to gain more power, espcially with Onslaught who doubles that buff you can get a nice result at the end of Turn 6

Card Strategy for the Budget Ongoing Deck

Ant-Man is one of the best 1-cost cards in any ongoing deck as you will almost all the time trigger his ability to make him a 4-power card and boosting that even more through ongoing improvement is a lot of value for the 1 energy he costs to play. Nightcrawler gives a lot of flexibility and can reach into locked locations or free up a slot if you need ot for a more powerful card later. Just a ton of flexibility. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Nightcrawler here.

Armor protects you from the worst enemy of this deck, Killmonger. But can also work well against decks utilizing destroy effects or use him on locations that destroy cards. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Armor here.
Colossus is a solid card that can’t have his power reduced so you can work with the many locations that reduce the power of cards and has decent power for the 2 energy. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Colossus here.

Lizard has an incredible energy to power ratio and is one of the best 2-cost cards right now and can get you a good early location occupied. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Lizard here.
Mister Fantastic buffs into other locations and turn great value, espcially if you happen to increase that buff through Onslaught later. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Mister Fantastic here.

Captain America will give you a nice buff and has an ongoing effect to gain further buffs either through Onslaught or Spectrum. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Captain America here.
Cosmo is an amazing card to deal with many superior decks by blocking their cards abilities while still maintaining your ongoing effects. And also works great against Enchantress that can remove ongoing effects as Cosmo will prevent her triggering it. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Cosmo here.

Warpath has decent power himself and can also be used if there’s a location that you abandon or can’t be played into to make sure you have enough power to still find your win condition. Also with Mister Fantastic and Klaw you can push power into locations without playing cards there so you gain more value out of that. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Warpath here.
Klaw can push power to the lcoation to his right so you can use Warpath and still compete for that location or gain an extra booster where you need it. Also, don’t forget that Onslaught can double that effect. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Klaw here.

Spectrum will give basically all your cards +2 power as all of them have ongoing effects (except Nightcrawler). Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Spectrum here.
