With the ability to remove any ongoing effect from your hand and deck, Sauron needs to be paired with cards that have negative ongoing effects and then you can suddenly play cards the give you a benefit but clear the negative effect (see below the synergies to know exactly what I mean)..

Sauron in current decks that do well in the meta: as you can see cards like Red Skull, Typhoid Mary among other cards in top decks, Sauron can also fit in there well especially as a 3-cost card he doesn’t have to replace any high-cost card in your deck..

Good Synergies with Sauron

Ebony Maw

as a 1-cost card with 7 power locks down a location, but with Sauron you can remove the ongoing effect BUT you need to get it down BEFORE Turn 4! Reduced or more energy, draging locations etc. still make it possible here and there so have both in your deck, just in case

doesn't have the craziest effect, but as a late card without the trouble of minding how many cards your opponent has, the 2-cost 5-power is a nice addition to have. Remember, Sauron doesn't clear ongoing effects of cards you've already played, just the ones in your deck and hand so rather hold Lizard back if you plan to drop Sauron

gives you more energy but limits you to only play one card per turn - but you can remove that limitation through Sauron

without her ongoing effect is a pretty great 10-power card for 4 energy and a great pair with Sauron

without the enemy power buff is insane power for low cost and playable at Turn 5 and probably the strongest synergy cards - and still useful even if you don't pull into your Sauron line

Shuri Sauron Slam – Tier S

Shuri is back, ladies and gentlemen! Several Shuri Decks work well this season and while Shuri was viable last season, this season she is back very strong!

Shuri Skaar – Tier A

Build a lot of power and at the same time grow your caler cards

Auto Skaar – Tier B

You might have encountered this deck in the previous season in Marvel Snap and this season this deck still works with the discard line along the other cards that make it less predicatble and give you more flexibility
