The Forest’s Trial Guide (Voyage of Wonders)

The new realm in Voyage of Wonders is coming and it’s called The Forest’s Trial and it has some puzzle (or rather let’s call it riddle) aspects. In this guide here I will show you what it will be about, what rewards you will get and also – as usual – a full walkthrough step-by-step through the whole realm.

The Forest’s Trial General & Rewards

As always, I won’t spoil anything about the storyline of The Forest’s Trial in my guide so you can read through everything, including the walkthrough, without giving away the chance to experience the full realm and the storyline.

The whole realm is pretty straightforward and has some puzzle elements, as always with Voyage of Wonders realms, to reach the final Crystal Chest. You basically have to trigger the Rune Mechanisms in the correct order to unlock your path through The Forest’s Trial.

Speaking of the final Crystal Chest, the main reward is 10x Stargazing Cards, along with the shards, coins and event items:

I think this is the most popular (or least un-popular) reward of Voyage of Wonders and looking at the effort for the whole realm absolutely fine, although I feel that rewards in Voyage of Wonders are gradually declining (no coins anymore and also shards get less and less) – but after all it’s still free for relatively small effort and it’s just my 2 cents.

The Forest’s Trial Walkthrough

As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here. With that being said, let’s not waste any more time and jump right into the walkthrough for The Forest’s Trial.

Step 1 – right after the introduction with Pippa and Raku (who else should run the storyline of a forest-themed Voyage of Wonders, right?), you will need to follow the path until you will find your first Rune Mechanism that will explain you how The Forest’s Trial works (1) – lightem them up in the correct order and it will open the gates:

Step 2 – the next section with the red Rune Mechanisms have the plain order of 1→2→3:

Step 3 – the upcoming order then is 2→3→1:

Step 4 – then around the corner the next mechanisms have the order of 1→2→3 again:

Step 5 – walking to the next section, you will have to light the mechanisms up in the order 3→1→2:

Step 6 – now you will get four mechanisms, so it will get more complicated to find out the order – the correct order to use here is 2→4→3→1:

Step 7 – then to the left use the order 4→1→2→3:

Step 8 – walking around the next corner you will see three mechanisms again and the correct order here is 1→2→3 again:

Step 9 – another four-mechanism sequence coming up, with the correct order of 2→3→4→1:

Step 10 – and the last four-mechanism combination order then is 4→3→1→2:

Step 11 – to unlock the final reward of The Forest’s Trial and the maze now, the last combination has five mechanisms with the code 3→4→2→5→1:

Now you have finished The Forest’s Trial successfully and should have all rewards collected.
