The Best TH11 War/Trophy/Farming Base Layouts (April 2024)

Town Hall 11 Bases – December 27th, 2021

War Base: this war base has all the current defensive concepts and techniques that you can expect from a good war base for TH11 and I haven’t had one situation while testing out the base where the attacker (when a Town Hall 11 himself) was able to get a 3-Star against this setup.

Trophy Base: every aspect of this base is designed to spit up attacking troops and make it impossible for the attacker to actually break through the whole base when the army will not stay together – especially in the standard defense situation you have with your Home Village this works really effectively and you can push or maintain trophies easily with it.

Farming Base: with the Dark Elixir Storage in the very core of the base and the other storages spread around you will make sure that the attacker won’t get all of the storages easily like it would be the case when storing all of them in the center of the base:

Town Hall 11 Bases – December 13th, 2021

War Base: a full war base (for CWL please check the previous base) that has the Town Hall outside and will make it really hard to perform a structured attack. In fact, the only way to crush this base and get the 3-Star is by an attacker that is higher than Town Hall 11.

Trophy Base: the general layout here is more like the Town Hall should be offset but I placed it inside the core. The mechanics are still really powerful to mess with troops pathing and splitting troops and slowing them down on their way through the base, which works really well here against all the attacking strategies you come across frequently at TH11.

Farming Base: this farming base has a clear focus on protecting your Dark Elixir Storage in the first place with the other storages more on the outside. If you look for a base that protects all resources, please check out the previous farming base below.

Town Hall 11 Bases – November 29th, 2021

War Base: an asymmetric layout with the upper compartment forcing the attacker to invest quite a bunch of troops to start building the attack and doing the funnel – and most of the times a higher Town Hall attacker needs to jump in to actually get a 3-Star against this TH11 war base.

Trophy Base: the core design and the pathing through this base will make it hard for the attacker to go through the base without clearing a super-wide funnel. Most parts here are designed to whistand the popular attacking strategies that you see frequently at Town Hall 11. You can also use it for CWL as well.

Farming Base: this farming base looks pretty straightforward and it is – with the storages in the inner areas and the Dark Elixir Storage in the core you have them in the safest locations possible. Everything around is tailored in a way to keep the attacker away from it.

Town Hall 11 Bases – November 15th, 2021

War Base: although the symmetrical look make this base look quite easy to beat, I can guarantee you that it’s not. The way troops get funneled, the spaces between the defenses and buildings and the small surprises the attacker has to deal with are working well-rounded against all attacking strategies you will have to deal with at Town Hall 11. Also works well for CWL.

Trophy Base: with a centered compartment layout, that has some features of a ring base, but more advantages when it comes to troop control and more balanced defense, this base is really holding off attackers and is ready for a decent trophy push. The storages are not completely exposed so you can also use this base as a kind-of-hybrid base.

Farming Base: the main structure is quite similar to the trophy base but these storage are more in places that makes it easier to protect them during an attack. You might want to switch them around a little bit if you want to make the priorities between Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir different.

Town Hall 11 Bases – November 1st, 2021

War Base: this war base has the offset compartment with the Town Hall in the northern section that is heavily protected by hidden defenses and traps. This will make it expensive for the attacker and then going through the full base is more a pain than joy. Worked so effectively that a way higher Town Hall needed to waste an attack to do the 3-Star against the base.

Trophy Base: this base has an offset core but in the base mechanics it’s a ring base, this will confuse enough attackers and the defensive mechanics you can find here work really well, too. With this base it will need more than a standard TH11 attack to get even a 2-Star.

Farming Base: more like a hybrid base here that has the storages spread around so the attacker can’t take all of them easily without going all-in against this base.

Town Hall 11 Bases – October 18th, 2021

War Base: a war base with an entirely offset Town Hall and very effective pathing through the center will make attacking this base a no-fun time. I haven’t seen any TH11 attacker been able to 3-Star this base so far so take it and enjoy attackers failing.

Trophy Base: the Y-shape of this trophy base along with the dead-zone-layered sections around the core makes this trophy really effective against many attacking strategies that you see that frequently at Town Hall 11.

Farming Base: an effective split-core farming base that will protect your Dark Elixir Storage quite well and has the other storages a little more on the outside. This means
your Gold/Elixir is not that well protected but you can pick the previous farming base if you need that right now.

Town Hall 11 Bases – October 4th, 2021

War Base: extremely strong war base that was giving opponents a lot of headaches. No TH11 was able to beat it and even higher Town Halls failed with their checklist-nobrain attacks. If you want to eat away some attacks in your next war, use this base and I’m really sure you won’t regret it and give your opponent a hard time.

Trophy Base: the divided core and the arrow-shaped compartments make this base a perfect one to push trophies or make yourself a comfortable spot in your League with your Town Hall 11 base. Works very effective against current meta strategies and the storages are not that much on the outside so you can still maintain some resources when defending.

Farming Base: with a core that is basically divided into multiple compartments each holding an important building (either defense, Town Hall or Dark Elixir Storage) and the other compartments designed to funnel troops away from the core makes this the perfect base to protect your Dark Elixir. Town Hall 11 Bases – September 20th, 2021

War Base: this base did not only defend against other TH11’s, also higher Town Hall levels had problems dealing with it and it took 7 attacks and a TH13 attacker to 3-Star it. Great success and really solid base.

Trophy Base: in this base layout you see a fusion from a ring base with the long-shaped core sections, making it really hard for the attacker to beat much as the funnel has to be created inside the ring and not on the outside. Worked really well, especially against regular no-brainer attackers that you see so much at Town Hall 11 these days.

Farming Base: this farming base here is kind of a rating base but with intersections that bring a twist into troop funneling and are designed to make the attacking troops go away from the core as much as possible so you can keep your Town Hall and Dark Elixir Storage secure there.

Town Hall 11 Bases – September 6th, 2021

War Base: a super-effective core along with several other defensive features that you will really appreciate when giving other Town Hall 11 attackers a hard time. It will take some serious effort to 3-Star this base, but that’s normal in the current meta. Still, takes a really skilled attacker or a higher Town Hall.

Trophy Base: not really a hybrid base but you can protect some storages along with still pushing or maintaining trophies with this setup here. Other than that, this base doesn’t look that crazy but effectively does what you want from a trophy base these days.

Farming Base: the storages are spread around in this base evenly to prevent that the attacker has an easy shot for them and can snipe them out.

Town Hall 11 Bases – August 23rd, 2021

War Base: this war base has a core you don’t want to go through. Dead zones, funneling, distraction wall pieces and an arrangement of defenses and traps that will split any attacking army in half.

Trophy Base: if you really think about pushing with your TH11 base, even to knock in the doors of Legend League, this base will have your back. I had such an easy time testing and using this base and earning trophies that I couldn’t believe it and also tested it on another account just to make sure that it really worked that well.

Farming Base: I’ve gotten several requests to create a pure Dark Elixir protection base and here’s the base I came up with that has the Dark Elixir Storage in the very core and the other storages not that well protected with the single cause to save up Dark Elixir as quick as possible with your TH11 account.

Town Hall 11 Bases – August 9th, 2021

War Base: this war base has it all, all the defensive features you expect from a base that you get here from me. I’m totally honest, it took a TH13 to 3-Star it in two different wars which is pretty impressive so also mind using it for CWL.

Trophy Base: don’t you think ring-style bases are boring? Well, I don’t. I often experiment around with different structural arrangements for testing and from time to time, like now, I come up with a ring base that makes sense because it works really well, even against attackers at TH11 that know what they’re doing. Use it and you won’t regret it.

Farming Base: yes, the arrangement of the round wall compartments might seem strange and I don’t use them a lot because such structures are kind of a waste of wall… but in terms of this farming base they really make sense and protect your loot in the core quite well.

Town Hall 11 Bases – July 26th, 2021

War Base: although this base looks quite lopsided and like a cheap troll base in the first looks, it will take more than just a TH11 attacker to get the 3-Stars. Especially the core area with the dead zones is really effective.

Trophy Base: not a symmetric base but with the Town Hall in the center and a naughty perimeter you’re all set to give attackers up in Champions or even Titan League a tough time when they attack you.

Farming Base: the core of this farming base is designed to protect your Dark Elixir Storage and the other storages, including the Town Hall, are spread around in the second layer of structures. Not protected that well but the attacker still needs to go for the full 3-Star attack if he wants your resources.

War Base: want to see how a TH13 struggles against a TH11? Well, use this base and you will be able to see it happen. Worked extremely well in my recent wars.

Trophy Base: centered Town Hall, dead zones, several compartments and a perimeter that makes it hard for the attacker to form a proper funnel into the heart of the base makes this base a great choice to rise in trophies.

Farming Base: this hybrid base has a large core with the Town Hall and the Dark Elixir Storage and everything around is designed to protect it.

Town Hall 11 Bases – May 31st, 2021

War Base: this war base might seem odd but the way the large dead zone messes with current attacking strategies is working very well and it will take more than a TH11 to beat this little baby.

Trophy Base: great to push trophies but it will also protect your Dark Elixir Storage as well. Yes, the general defensive strategy behind base styles like this is not the most innovative but it works and this is the main reason to use it.

Farming Base: this ring-style base with compartments has the storages on the inside and also the Dark Elixir Storage in the center and will give you a great way to protect your resources.

War Base: a great war base that held up really well against the current popular meta attacks you see at TH11.

Trophy Base: this trophy base shines with the Eagle Artillery protected really well, forcing the attacker to go for the core and pay a high price for that approach.

Farming Base: after the TH11 farming base for Dark Elixir last week, this base here is again better for also Gold and Elixir protection.

Town Hall 11 Bases – May 3rd, 2021

War Base: amazing results with this base that has never been 3-Stared by any TH11 so far and even let some TH12 attackers fail with solid attacks.

Trophy Base: classic compartment ring base design here that works really well and can even be used in Titan League without problems. The attacker will be forced to use their spells early because of the many compartments to have a chance to reach for the core.

Farming Base: with the Dark Elixir Storage in the center and the other storages in the first compartments, this base is perfect to farm and protect Dark Elixir at TH11. If you look for a base to protect your Gold and Elixir as well please check the base from last week.

Town Hall 11 Bases – April 26th, 2021

War Base: this is one of the strongest war bases for TH11 I had tested in two real wars and no other attacker of the same Town Hall was able to beat it anywhere close to a 3-Star.

Trophy Base: here’s a really effective base if you’re pushing trophies as TH11 with the main priority at the core. You can also use it as a base for CWL.

Farming Base: this week’s farming base is more a hybrid base as many people requested it with the storages more on the outside. Don’t get me wrong, this base will still protect your resources well but doesn’t give away trophies that easily if you want to maintain your current league.

War Base: large dead zones in a symmetrical layout and a Town Hall that will not be cheap to get makes this war base a beast and there’s no way that any other TH11 will 3-Star this base.

Trophy Base: classic trophy base for TH11 with the offset Town hall and the disrupted core area with Eagle Artillery and Clan Castle to force the attacker to attack through a certain path that is hard to funnel and control.

Farming Base: ring base with smaller compartments in the outside ring to slow down troops and keep them away from the storages on the inside.

Town Hall 11 Bases – February 1st, 2021

War Base: this base did hold up against 3x TH12 attacks in our last war and also friendly attacks have been really tough. If you want to boost your clan’s defensive success, this base will be great for you.

Trophy Base: great setup with a core and an Eagle Artillery that will give every attacker a tough time and will protect your trophies, even if you’re in the Legend League region with your TH11 base.

Farming Base: this is more a hybrid base that many people asked for recently, putting also focus on protecting trophies at some point. I didn’t want to substitute this week’s trophy base so if you’re looking for a 100% farming base use the one from last week or look out for the fresh base I will post next week.

Town Hall 11 Bases – January 25th, 2021

War Base: this war base puts some extra focus on having the Eagle Artillery in the dead zone in the center to make it hard for the attacker to do anything else than getting in there as fast as possible – but everything in this base is designed to prevent that and there was no TH11 able to 3-Star this base in two past wars.

Trophy Base: designed as a ring base but without the Town Hall in the core. This will not give you successful defenses but prevent more 3-Stars and worked effectively as there are enough players that will give you a cheap shield.

Farming Base: this universal base has the Dark Elixir storage in the core but also has the other storages in the second line of compartments, giving them some protection as well.

Town Hall 11 Bases – January 18th, 2021

War Base: I know the storage compartments looks quite weird but they are really effective bulkheads against attacking troops with their high hitpoints. Other than that, this base uses pretty standard defensive techniques that you can expect and no other TH11 was able to 3-Star it so far.

Trophy Base: This is a real Legend League base (of course also working in lower trophy ranges), and it does anything needed to protect your tropies, with a core that is incredibly hard to crack.

Farming Base: a great farming base that also puts other storages than Dark Elixir into the better protected zones. I had several requests to also design a farming base that is not primarily for protecting Dark Elixir so here we go.

Town Hall 11 Bases – January 11th, 2021

War Base: this base might no look as much, but it held off even TH12 attackers and saved my clan a ton of defensive work in our last 2 wars and I think it’s time that I share this layout with you.

Trophy Base: this base uses the ring structure and pairs it with the diamond structure to give the Eagle Artillery an alternative compartment that is also well-protected. The attacker is forced to either invest a lot to get the EA down or has to attack with the EA attacking his troops all the time.

Farming Base: Probably one of the toughest farming bases you have seen lately at TH11 with loads of defensive features like offset Eagle Artillery compartment, Hidden Tesla Farm, double-layered corner protections and much more to give the attacker a real hard time getting much out of attacking this base.

Town Hall 11 Bases – January 4th, 2021

War Base: this war base has a really effective compartment design that helps messing with troop pathing and also works against the currently popular attacking strategies at TH11. No attacker at Town Hall 11 was able to 3-Star this base and even some Town Hall 12 attackers had problems with it.

Trophy Base: this trophy base uses an offset Town Hall and a dead zone area around the Eagle Artillery to trap attackers into going for the “cheap” Town Hall but with good chances that they will miss even the 2-Star because they lack percentage. Saved me a ton of trophies

Farming Base: this is a great farming base for TH11 and really effective with the way the storages are located in the different compartments, with the Dark Elixir Storage in the center for maximum protection from greedy attackers.
