MODOK Ramp Deck Guide – MARVEL SNAP

MODOK works incredibly well in a ramp deck, too. Play him into Invisible Woman and make sure you have Hela behind him. So, then MODOK will discard your whole deck and Hela brings all cards back without rng

In this guide you’ll learn everything about the MODOK Ramp deck, including some replacements, and what lines to play and everything else you need. If you want to see what decks are crushing the meta right now in MARVEL Snap, please refer to my weekly updated meta decks guide here.

Card Strategy for the MODOK Ramp Deck

Iceman is just a great 1-cost card to interrupt your opponents synergy lines but can be replaced with other cards, too, if you want to. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Iceman here.
Invisible Woman is vital for this deck to work. You play her down and all other cards in that location will flip after her – so you can play MODOK on Turn 5 (he won’t flip) and then Hela on Turn 6. This means MODOK will discard your full hand except Hela and then Hela flips at the end and brings you full discarded hand on the board. Be careful as this can get interrupted. Electro works incredibly well to make your MODOK and Hela setup played earlier so you can make use of Magneto or Doctor Doom actively, too. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Electro here.
Wave is an alterntive to Electro so you can get MODOK down already on Turn 4. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Wave here.
Black Cat is great to play with good energy to power ratio if you decide to play her, but normally you want to let her discard automatically and then bring her back through Hela, too. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Black Cat here.
Jubilee can bring a great card on the board for low costs, sometimes even MODOK. But practically all cards bring positive value. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Jubilee here.
Captain Marvel works amazing and can even trigger at the end to switch around your power a bit to find the win location in case you need ot. Mind that Dracula triggers after Captain Marvel so it might have problems so don’t play it if you see Dracula on the board as it will treat Dracula with 0 power. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Captain Marvel here.
MODOK is the card you want to play on Turn 5 if you don’t have Hela in your hand (unless you play him into Invisible Woman so he will trigger at the very end). He will discard as much value as possible so you can return it with Hela. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with MODOK here.
Doctor Doom a great card to discard and revive or just to play if there are locked locations to reach into. Just adds some flexibility. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Doctor Doom here.
Hela is the win condition so if you manage to discard your hand through MODOK and then have Hela, there’s almost nothing that can stop you! Also mind the line of Invisible Woman -> MODOK -> Hela I mentioned above multiple times. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Hela here.
America Chavez primarily is in this deck to make sure you draw into your other cards more reliably. Also, you can be sure if you don’t have Hela on Turn 5 for MODOK, you will NOT draw Hela on Turn 6 as America Chaevz is gurantueed to be drawn on Turn 6. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with America Chavez here.
Magneto is great to draw through Jubilee or discard and bring back through Hela, but you can also play him actively if you haven#t seen Hela on Turn 5 or you see it will bring you the victory. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Magneto here.
