Good Cards Wave Guide – MARVEL SNAP

Combining strong cards together that have a lot of potential along Wave to reduce their costs can not only be flexible but also build a lot of power on the board – and with several tech-counter cards you can always limit your opponent well.

In this guide you’ll learn everything about the Good Cards Wave deck, including some replacements, and what lines to play and everything else you need. If you want to see what decks are crushing the meta right now in MARVEL Snap, please refer to my weekly updated meta decks guide here.

Card Strategy for the Good Cards Wave Deck

Korg can not only disrupt your opponent draws and has a decent 2-power ratio himself, you also gain +2 power on Darkhawk through him as he will grow your opponent’s handsize. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Korg here: More Korg Decks here.
Goose is an amazing defensive card to prevent your opponent to drop high-power cards or cards like Enchantress/Shang-Chi to mess with your power in that location and as you get your Darkhawk reduced through Zabu (as well as potentially get to play a stronger ability with Iron lad after Zabu), you can still build a solid amount of power in the location that you limit with Goose. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Goose here.
Zabu can potentially make your Enchantress, Darkhawk, Rockslide and Iron Lad 3-cost cards so you can drop two of them on Turn 6 for a big push that your opponent will have a hard tome defending against. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Zabu here.
Jeff the Baby Land Shark is less of a synergy card here and more a card you use situational to either shift things around or deal with the other lockdown/control-heavy decks. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Jeff the Baby Land Shark here.
Wave givey you the option to play Leader or Doctor Doom on Turn 4. Usually I’d recommend to play Wave into Doctor Doom for the biggest potential. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Wave here.
Darkhawk scales up through playing Kork and Rockslide yourself and if you discount him through Zabu you can get a great high-power card for actually 3 energy. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Darkhawk here.
Shang-Chi is great to counter the higher-power cards your opponent might drop and get rid and swing a location through that. Although control and lockdown decks are more common, there are always some scaler cards you can sitautionally deal well with him. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Shang-Chi here.
Rockslide is like Korg a great card to mess up opponent draw lines but also effectively grows your Darkhawk by +4 power. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Rockslide here.
Iron Lad can be well-used here to copy Leader, Doctor Doom, Darkhawk or pretty much any ability to make him worth playing + you have decent power on him and if you discount him through Zabu you can play him for 3 energy. One of the cards that make this deck perform that strong. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Iron Lad here.
Leader can absolutely ruin your opponent’s end-game by simply copy his card and as so many decks are about playing that one card at the end, this card is a secure way to win the match if you’re in the lead (no phun intended) in two locations going into Turn 6. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Leader here.
Doctor Doom is probably one of the strongest cards around right now as you have 15 power in total and the reach and spread make him so flexible and well to play and very hard to defend on Turn 6 against. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with Doctor Doom here.
America Chavez helps drawing into your strong cards more reliably – this is a good card archetype deck so you want them cards before Turn 6. Find more decks and synergy cards to play with America Chavez here.
