The basic layout for this base is a diamond base with open sections, paired with the intersections ring bases provide to give your base both advantages – slow down enemies and mess with attacking troops AI and also funnel them into your splash defenses and traps efficiently so the attacker can’t do anything about it. And that’s what works well with this base. Sorry by the way for the low upgrade state of the base, I needed to start a new mini account for building Buider Hall 6 bases and didn’t make it to max it out, the base still works well.

A ring base with offset single-sided perimeter gives the attacker only a few options to attack and the average Builder hall 6 attacker will fail against this base because it will counter popular stamdard-pattern attacking strategies really well.

This base is great and you have it all… open perimeter sections that distract attacking troops and mess with funneling, large core section that makes avoiding traps really hard and a general diamond shape that most attacking strategies at Builder Hall 6 have problems with. Overall, an amazing base that will hold up well unless you get mismatched with a higher Builder Hall enemy.

This island design is inspired by a certain design that used to work for a long time at BH6 but I tweaked it with several open spots, funnels for troops versus their logic AI paths and for traps effectivity so you will get a great base that will hold up well against all popular attacking strategies that you see around at Builder Hall 6 these days.

It will be really hard to get to the center part with the Builder Hall and often enough you will protect your 2-Star with this base.

I tweaked the open core base style of previous bases a little more to make the funnel more effective and force the attacker to go into the traps even better. Spam attacks and other strategies you see frequently at BH6 will not work great against this base.

This base uses a layout technique that is working well in the higher Builder Hall levels and also starts coming more and more to BH6 with the open core and the perimeter to force the attacker to go all-in into the core where funneling and timing is not working well anymore and it’s raw defense versus attacking troops. Effective and working, especially against the current attacking strategies you see primarily at BH6.

This split core setup makes attackers stop for a second because it’s not the usual general setup you see much around BH6 these day. Still, it’s really effective because the troop AI is distracted by the open sections and the Builder Hall still protected by the Crushers from the Battle Machine cleanup move. Clearing the perimeter will take the attacker a ton of time.

Here’s a double-layered diamond-style base that works simply effective against the popular attacking strategies at BH6 with a perimeter that takes quite some time to destroy for funneling while this will also cost the attacker a good bunch of troops as well. In the core there are then multiple sections that also takes a lot of time so often enough the attacker will even time out.

I had a similar BH6 design here a few weeks back and I tweaked it in several ways, especially to make the perimeter stronger when it comes to force attacking troops together and make the traps, Crusher and everything splash more effective. Dealing with this perimeter will eat a lot of time off the clock and the attacker will struggle to reach the core of the base with his remaining troops, making this base really effective against other Builder Hall 6 attackers.

This BH6 design uses bulkhead compartments on the backside of the main core that make it really hard for the attacker to break into the core section. Actually, the only decent way to approach this base is towards to core compartment but that will leave 3 compartments in different directions and split up troops that well that the 3-Star is not possible anymore – and for that reason this base works really well.

This divided-core BH6 design works well because the attacker needs to fight through basically two center areas and the outside boxes are designed to drag in troops. If the attacking troops will split up, the whole attack will go down and that’s what you want as defender.

I transformed this defensive technique from higher Builder halls where these multiple open compartments are arranged like a flower. Yes, kind of a diamond-style base but works really well because pathing of troops becomes a lot more squishy for the attacker and it will hold up pretty well against other BH6 attackers.

The entry funnels into the core of this BH6 base are super effective. The buildings on the outside will group up the troops and then make them walk straight into the defenses while under steady fire. Honesty, peobably the strongest BH6 base I’ve used in weeks.

The Crusher sin this base will do what their name implies – they crush! basically any ground attack (or the ground part of an attack) will find their dead end in the Crushers. Honestly, I haven’t seen one single attacker overcoming the Crushers to get anything more than a close 2-Star at BH6.

I really enjoyed using this BH5 base lately and it’s more than just a modification of the previous base I have been using but the general mechanics also apply here. It takes diamond style mechanics but adds more smaller compartments that work really effective in making it harder for troops to enter the core and gives more room for distracting troop AI.

This base here uses an approach that is quite popular at BH5 and transforms it into a BH6 base with the open bottom with the Crushers to give the attacker a hard time deciding to either risk going from the front and not reaching the Builder Hall or from the back but not getting enough percentage for the 2-Star. The perimeter structure is just effective and this base will give you a nice time defending.

This is a hybrid from a regular diamond base and a double shaped outline base for BH6 that is more popular on higher Builder Hall levels. You have the corner sections that are just annoying to funnel in and a large compartment at the bottom that just takes time to clear and will cost a good bunch of troops as well. Attacking from the backside doesn’t make much sense because it’s far away from getting enough percentage to get close to the 2-Star so the attacker won’t get much out of this base after all.

This base here uses a more closed compartment approach where the attacker needs to overcome several sections to even get to the core and also deal with the perimeter setup that will make it hard to funnel. The core is simply packed with every single strong defense BH6 has to offer to make sure that the surviving troops won’t get the Builder Hall or much other structures. This BH6 layout relies heavily on the poor AI pathfinding in the Builder Base by soaking troops into the Crushers and there’s nothing that the attacker can do about it, making it really effective to use this layout. The Spring Traps in the core section are extremely annoying for the attacker and the open wall sections next tot he Builder Hall often force troops to go to the next compartment instead of going straight for the Builder Hall.
Everything else, like air defenses, are also in place to take out the most common attacking strategies at Builder Hall 6

Builder Hall 6 Base – May 11th, 2020
This is a diamond layout for Builder Hall 6 but it has some cool features that work really well. You have the single Archer Tower compartment on top at the backdoor that will funnel troops left and right because the mines are closer there than the Air Bombs and Multi Mortar, so no easy access here. The bottom section has a lot of trash buildings that are really annoying to deal with to finally get behind the first layer of walls.
Even below that layer, there’s a ring that will mess with troop funneling again and it’s almost impossible to break into the core department with Bombers at all. Air attacks will have a hard time because the air defenses are in the core and impossible to clear easily.

Here’s a fresh BH6 base that works really well against the popular attacking strategies you see at Builder Hall 6 right now, especially Baby Dragons and ground attacks with Giants + Arch/Barbs. The core structure works really effective here.
You have the Firecrackers that cover a large portion of the base and getting them down with Baby Dragons costs a lot of them so there’s no way to actually get towards the Builder Hall. And even if the path would be clear for the Battle Machine, the Crushers still cover the Builder Hall really well and protect it from getting destroyed effectively.

This is a fresh Builder Hall 6 base design that I have tested in the last days and it worked well in Versus Battles against other BH6 players. Getting matched with BH7 players is really annoying right now and there’s only little you can do to defend against them but this base don’t give away that easy here as well.
I really like the Air Mine in front of the Crushers because many attackers thing that they will find a Spring Trap there and several ones have made the huge mistake of messing up the last part of their attack by thinking this

Night Witches are a nightmare at Builder Hall 6 so this base has a nice surprise for those attackers going after the Gem Mine on top first with the bombs that can just ruin an attack. The tactic is simple but many fall for it because it’s the obvious choice to do with mass Night Witches as they need to start in a corner to actually build up the bat wave.
Even when the attacker uses a different strategy or smells the bait and don’t ruin his attack with dropping troops on top, he will still suffer as the main base has a solid layout with Crusher funnel and a strong backline.

Builder Hall 6 Base – March 17th, 2020
This is a nice BH6 base with an interesting approach with the Builder Hut in that single compartment that works as a cover compartment against any Bomber attempts from the bottom direction so the attacker won’t basically break into nothing here.
The top side is protected by the Crusher funnels so no worries here that ground troops will enter the core area of the base easily and the defenses around the Builder Hall will keep bats from Night Witches under control.

A base that worked for my Builder Hall 6 lately is this base and I really like the approach of the open center compartment that messes with funneling troops a lot and guides them straight into the Crushers. The loads of traps there are also quite nice to keep the troops of the attacker under constant pressure.
The alternative is coming in from top or bottom and then the attacker needs to break into and out of these two compartments and most likely not do that – you’ll see a lot of spam attacks against this base layout and spam attacks won’t work that well – a nice base layout to use

Builder Hall 6 Base – January 2020
Compared to other base layouts for Builder Base 6 it’s not the most creative layout but a good base is a base that works, right?
This base funnels ground troops into the Crushers and this will help not only to defend against ground troops, it’s also really handy to fight off Night Witch attacks (and they are pretty much the most-used attacking strategy at BH6).
Normally Night Witches use the Battle Machine as a tank so the Night Witches can survive long enough to cast their bats to become huge waves that overrun the base.
The Crusher layout here works well and drags the Battle Machine into the Crushers so it will go down fairly early in the attack and leave the Night Witches in the open field and make them an easy target for your defenses.
In the meantime, your Roaster and also the Air Bombs take care of the bats and keep them away from your Builder Hall so the attacker will end the battle with either a 0-Star or maybe a close 1-Star in the 5x % area.
I normally say if you can defend well against the mass Night Witch attacks you’re doing fine at BH6 because this is the strategy that is used most at Builder Hall 6.
But to make this review complete let’s have a look at the ground attacking strategies that mostly use Giants along with Barbarians/Archers.
These attackers will have a tough spot because the Crushers always have the threat active and troops will get sucked in there no matter from what position the attacker chooses to come from. Well, with right timing and an attacker who knows what he’s doing it’s almost impossible to defend… but let’s be honest here, at BH6 you won’t find many of them and most attacks are simply spamming troops until no troops are left
