Are you planning to or already running Zenobia in Rise of Kingdoms in one of your marches and want to see how you should invest the talent points, what equipment works best and what other commanders you should pair with? Well, then you’re in the right place, below you will find answer to each one of those questions and this will help you make your Zenobia perfrom as strong as possible in all situations.

Skill Order
When you star up Zenobia, you also unlock a new skill. This helps you fine-tune in what order you want to upgrade the skills of your commander as not all skills are equally good and worth maxing or worth maxing first (in general) – this helps to invest your sculptures more reasonably to get the biggest bang for your buck.
The way and order you level your Zenobia up depends a lot on who you will use her with as this will make a huge difference how far you need to take her skills to work well. In case you use her as the primary commander, you want to take her to expertise to gain all the healing possible, especially when defending structures. If not, try to unlock all her skills as quickly as possible and then level them up.
I personally feel there’s no ideal optimized order and I don’t want to make one up and start confusion here – Zenobia is all about healing and that’s working best if you expertise her.
Best Troops
Zenobia in general doesn’t care about troop types, however, has an extra buff for infantry troops in her 3rd skill. If you use her to defend your city, well, troop types won’t matter and defending a structure try to get as many infantry in there as possible but there’s no requirement to only bring infantry troops.

Best Equipment
In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Zenobia:
Zenobia has the Infantry Tree and some talent points spent there and as you ideally use her to defend a structure and bring as much infantry as possible, I’d recommend running the typical infantry-buffing gear like at least Witch’s Lineage, Quinn’s Soul, Gatekeeper’s Shield, Seth,s Brutality, Kuruak’s Humility and Frost Treads with her (or better)

Best Builds For Zenobia
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Zenobia that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
There’s multiple way to build Zenobia’s talents but this one is a universal one that you can also use with Zenobia protecting your city – with as little priority to the infantry tree. For defending structures with as many infantry troops as possible, please check out the build below.
The main idea behind this talent build is to generate as much rage as possible with Zenobia as the primary commander so the more damage you get, the more rage you generate and the faster you cycle through your healing skill to make it hard to get you down. This would require Zenobia to be expertised, especially when you run her primary to defend as your city captain so I don’t see recommending any specific order for the talents here as you liteally would need her maxed to make this work or healing will not be high enough to compensate the incoming damage.
This is a more infantry-geared talent build that you would use for defending a structure and bringing in as many infantry troops as possible. You don’t need your Zenobia expertised for that but it will help to make more healing. First go into all the extra rage points in the Garrison Tree. Espcially Nowhere To Turn is a very important talent to have as it will grant you a ton of rage when attacked to spam your healing skill.
Conclusion
I hope this guide for building Zenobia helped you investing without wasting much time and resources.
