Sword Sage with his multi-target effect damage and the ability to not just ignore damage reduction effects himself but also give that effect to all ally heroes makes him a great universal useful hero – also silence-immunity and damage reflection makes it hard for enemies to deal with him

How to unlock
Tenacity increases the maximum HP so kind-of fulfils the same cause. Can be more useful if you run him along healing heroes that heal based on target max HP to get more healing, otherwise I’d go with the damage reduction .
Sacred Light is oldie-but-goldie and still one of the more important talents on Sword Sage with more HP and damage reduction to keep him alive, which is one of your primary goals when building him. You might think about something that revives but normally if he goes down he goes down quickly and a revive won’t change anything with that and the damage reduction and more HP is a better choice .

Ancient Insight has incredible damage reduction which helps a ton in keeping Sword Sage alive + also grants more immunity ignore that he has built-in but only triggeres occasionally so you can keep it up longer .
Spike Shield can be also very handy to have on him to control enemy energy well that goes well with his kit .
