Suleiman doesn’t care about troop types but his 3rd skill needs at least two different troops types so he is about mixed troops more than one specific troop type.
Best Commander Pairing for Suleiman I
Honda Tadakatsu shares very similar mechanics with Suleiman and running them with mixed troops works out well and they apply a lot of buffs and debuffs to the target together (See full build here).

Best Talent Tree Builds For Suleiman I
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Suleiman I that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. As Suleiman’s skill kit overall is quite interesting, this is the talent build that makes most sense to me to use with him, taking all the valuable points there are that basically buff your side up and make the target take more damage as his kit is about making an effect through debuffing and buffing, not direct skill damage like other commanders use. His trees aren#t the best ones so I feel this is the way to go if you want to form a supportive march for a multi-rally situation with Suleiman as the primary commander.
