Below you will find the best order to unlock and level up skills by how useful they are so you don’t have to level the skills up one by one and spend a lot of extra sculptures on it. This will let you use this commander earlier and also saves you important Universal Sculptures in the long run!

He is working best with infantry marches so stick with that when you use him.

Best Commander Pairing for Phyrrus

Mehmed II

Henry
Henry

Charles Martel is a good early KvK pick as you can gain all the buffs and the march speed from Phyrrus and also have a really sustain march with the survivability that Charles Martel provides (See full build here).

Richard works similar to Charles Martel here and makes you ahve a really tanky march espcially with the shielding in place that has good cross-synergy (See full build here).

Aethelflaed can slow down the target and is great as infantry struggles with exactly that in the open field and dragging down enemy marches is not just a lot of fun but also effective at the end of the day (See full build here).

Mehmed II is also a early KvK march that I had quite some fun running around with. Not the craziest effective one but one that works as well (See full build here).

Henry – (See full build here).

Best Equipment Forge Order

In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Phyrrus. There are different builds for wherever you are right now, from beginner to veteran:

Best Talent Tree Builds For Phyrrus

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Phyrrus that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

This first talent build is focusing more on the defense side and helps Phyrrus susain and mitigate as much damage as possible. He is not a burst commander so you should build him to survive burst and then take over against commanders that need to take you down quickly and you can shine.

This is a more attack-orineted talent build with still picking up the valuables in the defense tree but also trying to deal more damage with your infantry march and also pick up the very important march speed for the slow infantry units.

This build is the best if you use Phyrrus in Sunset Canyon where march speed is not that relevant so you can pump up his sustain and attack in return. do NOT use this talent build anywhere else as he will be such a slow low-hanging fruit to pick!

Best Formation + Armaments

Formation and Armaments are supposed to work perfectly with your commanders kit or you will find yourself very quickly in a disadvantage on the battlefield – and with so many variations it can be tough to stay on top. Here is what the works best in today’s meta:
