Best Troops
Liu Che is about infantry and also looking at the possible commanders to pair him with, infantry only marches is the only setup that make sense here.
Best Commander Pairing for Liu Che
Sargon is the best pairing with Liu Che and they work so well together that they can even give top meta setup a hard time. When both maxed you even want to run Liu Che as the primary commander but normally you will have Sargon built a lot further so start out. Anyway both ways work exceptionally well (See full build here).
Gorgo is build to run along Liu Che and they are the only valid pairing for open field when you want to run Gorgo but they really struggle against the archer meta (See full build here).
Scipio Africanus (Prime) is also a viable combo and they also do work well together. In this case, however, I would use Scipio Prime as the primary commander (See full build here).

Best Talent Tree Builds For Liu Che
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Liu Che that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
This is the only talent build with Liu Che that makes sense in my opinion, also in terms with the commander you combine him with. If you use him as the primary commander the options are limited anyway so take the classic infantry talent points and you#re good to go.
