Best Troops
Her important scaler is that infantry normal attacks get buffed up like crazy, so it makes no sense to run her with anything else than full infantry marches.
Best Commander Pairing for Gorgo
Liu Che is, all the theoretical and possible pairings aside, the one and only pairing to use with her seriously for the reason their interaction and smite damage works. The other pairings work, yes, but the only impactsful pairing is them together and it is one that will be extremely dangerous to almost everything. But also here this comes with a little downside and that is that you need to bring at least two or even better more infantry marches so her debuff will scale (See full build here).
Flavius is the best pairing with Gorgo if you plan to run her for garrison and even stronger than other Falvius garrison pairs and although getting shredded by some meta rally pairs, still the best option you have here (See full build here).
Heraclius is also a valid garrison pairing and espcially against archers you can do well here (See full build here).
Scipio Africanus (Prime) looks very promising but as soon as you’re against archers you will get shredded like there’s no tomorrow in the open field (See full build here).
Phyrrus with normal attacks and Gorgo with her insane debuff was something I did look forward testing but they got literally destroyed so heavily by archers (See full build here).

Best Talent Tree Builds For Gorgo
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Gorgo that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
If you’re running Gorgo for anything else than garrison (and that is realistically open field), this is the talent tree build you want to follow through to make best use of her kit.
This is the talent skill build with Gorgo if you use her as the garrison defender and there is literally no other way around it that makes sense. I would give you a priority but the reality is if you run her as garrison commander before having her maxed out you’re up for a huge mistake so making up a priority here will rather motivate people to do that and that is the reason you will not get a priority here.
