Best Troop Types
Most of the times you run her as the secondary commander in your legion and since she has absolutely no favorite she goes with every troop type the primary commander likes
Best Hero Pairing for Mu Hsiang
Thundelyn works incredibly well at the beginning of S3 as Mu Shing will make her kit roll a lot better and make her also a lot more sturdy (See full build here).
Thaleia also works really well as primary with her. If you thought Thaleia can only runs econdary to Thundelyn, well, she is an excelent primary commander of a magic legion with Mu Shing secondary (See full build here).
Velyn start of S3 a really viable pairing as well, espcially if you don’t want to split up your Thudelyn Thaleia pairing (See full build here).

Best Builds For Mu Hsiang
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Mu Hsiang that make sense when running as the primary commander in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
As mentioned earlier, you normally run her as the secondary commander so the tree is not that important. Nonetheless, there are ways to run her primary and this is the tree I recommend for that. In reality she will most likely be paired with magic heroes but that is just a meta snapshot right now and there is nothing in her kit that actually limits her to that
