Best Troop Types

With the way she works you could theoretically do some funky stuff but stick with magical units and a magical hero to pair with and you will be getting the best results

Best Hero Pairing for Thundelyn

Theia

Thaleia

Velyn

Theia as primary commander with Thundelyn secondary is meta as soona s Thundelyn becomes available on your server. Theia has all it takes to trigger the additional effects of Thundelyn and this combo already brings havoc literally with Thundelyn 5111 so the invest is also quite friendly. I can nly think of very little reasons to not run this pairing (See full build here).

Thaleia normally heroes that are released together go best together in Call of Dragons but in all honesty with Theia in the mix for Thundelyn, Thaleia is not that great of a pairing off the bat and also requires a lot more invest to be even on par. I am sure that we will see this combination having an advantage at one point in the future but right now it’s not best (See full build here).

Velyn works as well as he has some debuffs to use but in all reality I only would see that if you don’t have Theia or Thaleia built at all and VElyn maxed to be viable (See full build here).

Seraphic Faedrake

is absolutely must along Interruption as skill. Yes, other pets can potentially work but the way those made each others success you really don't want to waste any thought on using any other war pet with Thundelyn in the mix

This is the tree that makes sense if you run her as primary hero in your legion. Still, not needed if you don’t and there are legitimate versions that work without that but in all setups you want her Control Tree to work, a super powerful tree build that makes sense with her
