Best Keira Builds (Talent Tree | Skill Order | Best Pairing) In Rise of Kingdoms

Best Troops

Keira cares primarily about Archers. Her 3rd skill will give archer units a attack and defense buff and, let’s be honest, there’s no useful talent build for Keira that doesn’t require you to take at least half of the archery tree.

Best Commander Pairing for Keira

Lohar

Boudica

Lohar If you go into a battle with neutral units where it can be close, take Lohar. Otherwise, use her with any commander you feel you should or want to use. Sun Tzu Keira’s 4th skill along with skill damage is a rocket! So, pairing her with secondary commanders like Sun Tzu. Kusunoki also benefits a lot when running along Keira and you can easily pair them together. Hermann is another good epic commander pair for Keira. Boudica and keira along each other can be a great open field pairing for the open field.

Best Equipment Forge Order

In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Keira. I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:

Chain Mail is super cheap to craft and gives some attack so it's the best first gear item to craft and equip

Sturdy Boots will give some defense and gathering speed which is not too exciting but they are also cheap to craft and give at least a few stats and should be your second gear item to equip

Helm of the Phoenix is the first green item to craft and equip and although the stats overall are not too impressive, at this early stage they still help and are a solid progress

Leather Gloves gives some health which is always good (and I mentioned numerous times that health is the strongest stat in the game) so you can't go wrong now with this as your next gear item, espcially considering the low crafting costs

Ranger Trousers is also not too exciting but the only green piece that gives any stats to archers so take it

Blessed Blade is the last open gear slot to equip and the reason why I recommend this last is that archers normally don't have a huge problem with attack and this item provides attack), they normally struglge more with durability in combats so this will make you deal more damage which is fine but doesn't help with any defensive stats at all - for that reason I recommend this gear item last here

Commanders Heavy Armor is the next gear piece and you should skip the green one here for sure as it is even worst for archer stats than the white gear piece you're having, so get the blue directly and save yourself some crafting resources and the health increase you get here is quite massive

Staff of the Lost should be the next gear to replace the green one, for the simple reason that you can now get defense instead of attack which makes your march a lot more durable and reliable

Greaves of the Exile is like the weapon the next logical step as it is now available and you should have the resources to craft it

Flame Treads now finally replace the white boots. There was simply nothing good available so far that made sense so you have rather saved resources by jumping from white to epic directly and with massive 5.5% health it's a great gear item that set you up well here

Best Builds For Keira

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Keira that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

This is the main build that I recommend you to use if you run her primary and use her with a secondary commander with high synergy and with a full archer army. The reason why this tree works fine is that a big part of her power comes from her passive skill (and that’s the insane debuff that increases skill damage on her enemies) – and you don’t need a rage engine to generate lots of range because this is a passive skill.When re-building this talent setup you have a tough choice where to start and I recommend you to go into the Archery Tree first to unlock Venomous Sting – this increases the skill damage of Keira and her secondary commander and walks hand-in-hand with her debuff and AoE skill. But it gets crazyier with damage buffing.But first now I would go into the Skill Tree and get Latent Power. This will buff skill damage by 6% for only using 11 talent points and you get Burning Blood as well which is, point-for-point, a great value for Keira at this point.From here you start getting Whistling Arrows in the Archery Tree unlocked as quick as possible to get another chance to increase all damage (including skill damage) by 25% – imagine rolling all this increased damage with a secondary commander that will deal massive skill damage, you will crush.Now the last points should go into Rejuvenate in the Skill Tree, even though you’re not that dependant on a rage engine it still is a huge increase. Last points then into Razor Sharp, Full Quiver and Tactical Mastery.

If you run Keira, for whatever reason, with a mixed army composition you can’t focus that much on the Archery Tree and then the Skill Tree is what you need. You also want to get Venomous Sting in the Archery Tree first as it will increase that skill damage of Keira and her secondary commander no matter what troops you use – you will “waste” some talent point on the way but it’s still so valuable that you shouldn’t even think about having any build for Keira without.After that it’s time to go for the Skill Tree and get Rejuvenate first before maxing out Feral Nature. This build will give her a massive range engine and she will cycle her primary skill a lot but I still say that she will deal less damage than running her with a full archer army and the Archery Build you see above.

If you level her up and have her spend much time in the open field you want to get a hybrid build that will improve her march speed:First you will go into the Peacekeeping Tree and make your way to Thoroughbreds to get more march speed and also decrease the Action Points you need and experience she will gain from hunting barbarians – can be helpful to level her up faster.Important, only spend 1 point into Thoroughbreds or you will be short later and that extra march speed is better than wasting attack power overall!Now make your way to the Archery Tree and get Whistling Arrows unlocked by getting Venomous Sting first.Last step will be getting Rejuvenate. If you’re really lacking march speed you can also put only 1 point into Rejuvenate and get 3 points into Thoroughbreds but that’s up to you – I personally will always prioritize Rejuvenate instead of some march speed.
