Best Troops
Osman doesn’t care about troop types at all so take whatever troops you like with his marches.
Best Commander Pairing for Osman
Genghis Khan reduce the rage requirement which is basically the same as extra rage and can be a early pairing before you get more legandary commanders. Yi-Seong Gye (YSG) works fine by boosting skill damage by 100% and Aethelflaed is also a nice option when you pair Osman with a legendary commander. Sun Tzu is one of the finest pairing you can use with Osman. With Boudica you also have some healing which will make Osman more sustainable. Pelagius is also useful with a full cavalry march and Hermann with a full archer march would work fine as well. Boudica can also be an option if the above-mentioned commanders are not available to yu or you have them in use differently already.

Best Equipment Forge Order
In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Osman. I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:

How to unlock
Artifacts are nothing to care about as he will be an compleneteray early secondary commander once you unlock more commanders, far before you get decent artifacts available.
Best Builds For Osman
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Osman that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate. So, we have here two builds for the open field – one heavily involving the Skill Tree and the other one using the Leadership Tree – and also one conquering build if you want to use Osman to attack other players’ cities. Here’s the Skill Tree build and I personally like this one a little more because the additional rage for the rage engine works really smooth. The first thing you want to get for this build is Rejuvenate in the Skill Tree for various reasons. First, you will get 150 rage whenever Osman or the secondary commander will use the active skill so that’s 300 rage in total which will fill your rage to one third instantly after each skill usage and lower the time you need to pop your primary skill from 10 seconds (first time) to about 6 seconds after that. Also, you will pick up Burning Blood for more rage on the way and All For One that will boost your secondary commander that normally also uses an active skill that deals direct damage. Now it’s time to get even more rage and you should now complete the other side of the Skill Tree to finally unlock Feral Nature which also brings more additional rage – with this build you’ll be cycling through the active skill so fast and deal such a high amount of damage that you will have so much fun with Osman int he open field!Next up, you should hit the Leadership Tree and make your way up to Strategic Prowess and this is where the magic happens. Not only will you pick up Hidden Wrath on your way, which also gives you even more additional rage, you will also get a huge defensive boost here. With all the additional rage you will see the primary skill cycling in around 3-5 seconds, depending how Feral Nature pops and you will get 20% extra defense for 2 seconds each time the skill is used – so you will basically run 80% of the time with that extra defense which makes it the great additionl to the rage you get from the Skill Tree. The last points then go into Fresh Recruits and you can spend them in Armed To The Teeth and Armored To The Teeth as you want to.This is an alternative talent tree build that you can use for Osman int he open field – it’s more a basic build that will strengthen your army but I found that it won’t perform as well as the build above. Still, if you like consistency, this is also a viable build to use. You will also get Rejuvenate first in the Skill Tree as explained above, for the same reasons. You can’t afford to not get that extra rage with Osman that will let you pop your primary skill so much more frequently. From here you will hit the Leadership Tree and go for Strategic Prowess to get this defensive buff. It won’t be active that frequently as in the build above but still often enough to strengthen your army a lot. Next you should get Close Formation for a nice attack bonus when the fights get towards the end. You’ll be running around with Osman anyway so chances are high that you will get below 50% strength at some point. Now Armored To The Teeth and Armed To The Teeth are nice static buffs that will help and are no-brainer to get here.Last points should now be spent for Tactical mastery to get some more skill damage done and Heraldic Shield to get less skill damage. I also would go to get Naked Rage because you have enough talents that lower the skill damage you get and with such a high skill damage you#re dealing this is still a positive trade-off for you.If you like to hit cities with Osman, you should work with this build here. You want to get all the way through the Conquering Tree here to unlock Meteor Shower, which is working great when hitting a city. The talents that you pick up on your way are all kind of helpful, although none of them are superior to give you any recommendation which one to pick first.Next you want to go into the Skill Tree and get Rejuvenate. If you have scrolled over the upper builds and haven’t read why Rejuvenate is so strong with Osman, you should do that to understand why it’s a must-have talent in every build for him.Last points then should go into the Leadership Tree to get Hidden Wrath for some extra rage and get the march speed points there. They can become very useful in case something goes wrong with your rally and you want to get away faster.
Conclusion
