Best Troop Types
She is quite universal, so you can pair her up with whatever hero you feel and use their troop type since she is not caring at all about troop type
Best Hero Pairing for Eliana
Garwood is the only pairing that really make sense with her. Of course you can pair her technically with each hero, but with Garwood secondary on an early server you actually have a very heal-heavy, durable legion without having to build Garwood up too much (See full build here).

Best Builds For Eliana
Below you will find the talent tree builds for Eliana that make sense when running as the primary commander in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.
For me the only use-case where you would actually use Eliana as primary commander is when you are early on a new server, you just pulled Garwood and look for a defensive lineup with a ton of healing without having to invest too much into Garwood (yet). This is when you want to run Eliana as primary commander of your legion with this talent tree.
