Best Troops

Diaochan doesn’t care at all about troops types so bring whatever you have – also you will most of the time run her as the secondary commander anyway.

Yi-Seong Gye (YSG) boosts skill damage and generates rage with the aerea of effect you will have a great pairing. Use Diaochan as the secondary commander, though. Cao Cao deals more damage against barbarians and is overall a commander that works really well as the primary commander when you go up against barbarians with Diaochan as the secondary commander. Minamoto deals tons of skill damage and also has the extra damage against neutral units that makes him a great pair with Diaochan as the secondary commander. Sun Tzu is an amazing epic commander open field pairing for lots of rage and good skill damage. Use Sun Tzu as the primary commander and you’ll fly through the active skills with the rage engine he provides. Hermann is similar to Sun Tzu but use a full archery march with him and get additional rage and deal quite some skill damage.

Best Equipment Forge Order

The thing about gear on Diaochan is pretty simple. Use whatever you have but by the time you get good gear, you will normally not use Diaochan anymore and the fact tht you normally would use her as the secondary commander doesn’t make it any better.

Best Builds For Diaochan

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Diaochan that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

This is the general talent build that I recommend if you want to hunt down barbarians on the map that gives you the quickest time to take them out.
This is a slightly modified talent build and you would use it against barbarian forts as it skips out some talents that you will not use against forts but swap some in that work well for that.
This here can be your early-game open field build and mind that it is all about generating rage but also have march speed as you don’t want your targets to run away from you when apply that massive damage over time active skill on them.

Conclusion

I hope this guide for building Diaochan helped you investing without wasting much time and resources.
