What Champions Are Good in Foundation: Galactic Frontier?
Let’s go right into the list and the champions are not separated by rarity but the legendary champions have not just stronger base stats but also higher multiplications, making them naturally stronger than the epics.

Killer Bee will be the first new hero releasing that hasn’t been out for the open beta test and start rolling out on the first servers early in 2026!
Post-Release Heroes
These heroes will become available through events after your start playing - pelase mind, the heroes here are ordered in the order how they get released (newest heroes on top) so you can always see what heroes will be released next on your server and which ones are really good to get
Tier NEWGood DPS output with self.healing for a portion of damage dealt is almost always a good option and she is for sure an important buff for the kinetic ship needed in 2026.
Tier S+She honestly is the support that your Ion flagship needs when getting chip damage - early on you will see the problem your Ion ship has as it will often just get chipped away in combat even without being the primary target so her healing is crucial but her passive formation buff for counterattacking just takes the cake honestly and makes her a must-have and must-run hero early on and even later on in Foundation Galactic Frontier.
Tier SDeals very good damage but even more important has the damage mitigation and buffs INT. Not easy to build unfortunately but having her kit unlocked will open up new possibilities with your kinetic flagship.
Tier SUnfortunately a limited hero so you need to wait for his rotation to be able to build him and he deals damage, like serious damage. If you do invest money in Foundation Glalactic Frontier this is a hero to have on your shortlist for a bean flagshipt for sure.
Tier SShe is like the limitied Ion counterpart of Evan Rogers, very strong but can only be built in her rotation.
Release Heroes
These heroes are available when you start playing on your server - the heroes here are sorted by their tier/strength
Tier S+A little bit of warning towards Zora because I feel i have to say this looking at her ranking here... she does deal a lot of damage, like incredibly lot. But you need to purchase every single copy of her through the shop and there is no other way to build her. You get an incredible hero in return but be aware it is not the neat little offers that you start with, in order to actually unlock all her abilities you will (depending on your country and patience) probaly spend towards a 3-digit dollar amount. But if you want to spend some money she is a very strong hero to spend on honestly.
Tier A+You will unlock her quite early in recruitment since she is one of the 3 legendaries that are avilable in the regular recruiting so naturally you will unlock her and also quite easily star her up. She will serve you really well in space and ground combat and it will take a while until she will not be one of your active heroes on your ion flagship so use her and build her early on and you will have a very solid legendary on your hands. The limited ones are stronger, just as disclaimer, but also harder to build and for most players she is a core hero but for that I can't put her in the top ranks.
Tier A+You can unlock her in the pass which in hoenstly probably the biggest value you get early on. She can heal once you unlock her full skills but also has nice support and some damage in her setup that is worth it and is for sure an upgrade to any epic hero option for your beam ship.
Tier ALike Jodie Beart one of the 3 legendaries available in regular recruit and easy to get and build - she is in a little bit of a weird spot since the Kinetic ship often is not in need of more defense and the target. Especially early on you find her actually more interesting for ground combat where she is a good tank and honestly she is probably the weakest of the early regular recruitment legendaries.
Tier AAlong Jodie and Cocoon the legendary available in regular recruitment and honestly a great help early on with the healing of your beam flagship and will stay relevant for really quite a while.
Tier ABest epic in Foundation Galactic Frontier and she will have a good spot in your Ion flagship for a long time honestly.
Tier AOne of the few epics that you will rock for a long time and unless you actually get Eva von Trier, you will rock him a very long time.
Tier AReally nice for beam early on and if you don't get Aliya from the paid pass, she will serve you well with her ability as primary commander on your beam flagship for quite a while + she is good in ground combat so for sure a hero worth leveling and building (unless you get Lily right away, then you will replace her for for F2P Klara is a great option).
Tier B+She is honestly good and for all players that are not getting Zora (please read her description above to see what you get into when getting her), she will do very well up into mid-game on your Kinetic ship.
Tier B+Surprisingly useful for your beam ship from Day 1 and if you don't build Evan Rodgers (limited legandary), he will have a spot in your beam crew for a long time.
Tier BThere is two versions of his ranking honestly. One is for most players where you easily pull and build Phade and he does well on your Ion flagship and that is that - but if you want to spend a little money getting Ajita is a must and she is so incredible for your whole formation and she takes his spot on your Ion flagship, so that makes him not a hero to use past the very very early stages until you see the Ajita packs pop up.
