Ground combat in Foundation Galactic Frontier can be something you can really mess up easily – you need it on one side for progress in several modes but also since it ground skills on heroes use the same Handbooks as upgrade material you can’t just upgrade multiple heroes to see what works and there is no real info other than trial-and-error available what heroes work.

The Best Ground Combat Teams
There are literally three teams that make sense and which one to choose depends on your spending in the game and what heroes you have access to.
Starter/F2P
Absolutely easy starter team honestly and since you will pull the legendaries in regular recruits super fast on the first day(s) and their ground combat skills are unlocked right away a good investment. Klara will not be good at space combat since Jodie takes her spot but in ground combat she does really well here and you can pump quite a bit of Training Manuals into her… to make this pairing work, use Cocoon alongside Doug Rockwell and Klara.
Low-Invest
If you spend a but and only unlock Zora you have an amazingly strong ground combat hero without even star her up at all, just build her skills. This team here is your gold standard unless you are really spending frequently on Foundation Galactic Frontier… to make this pairing work, use Cocoon alongside Doug Rockwell and Zora Dominii.
Strongest
The best ground combat team right now in Foundation Galactic Frontier with incredibly strong damage output that nukes every enemy really quickly… to make this pairing work, use Zora Dominii alongside Lily and Evan Rogers.

The most important member of the team should be Phade. He gives 2 attack bonuses to the whole team with his passive and tactical abilities. Add 2 more with high attack stats (not power) for a good time. Cocoon and Klara are defensive so avoid them. Add Riian (crit rate boost for all) and Kama (crit damage boost for all) and you will destroy the port commander.
Rockwell (vulnerability to attacks on enemies) and Lani (high damage if health is less than 50%) are great against multiple targets for other events or radiant. Jodie and Eva are good damagers too. I still have to unlock the other legendary champs so my opinion could change.
