Since the ground combat skills use the same Training Manuals that space combat uses, you simply can’t affort upgrading all of them, actually not even one more hero’s ground combat skill than needed. Best Hero Pairing for Doug Rockwell
Aliya is an incredible first slot beam hero to use with Doug where you have damage buffing and healing together so you can fill the thrid slot with a hero that is purely about damage (See full build here).
Evan Rogers is the damage dealer you want along him to bring the damage on the track that you want and need while Doug keeps your ship healed up with his survivability kit (See full build here).
Lucius Pullo is an alternative to Evan Rogers hoenstly, with a very similar kit and synergy to her and is a hero to use (See full build here).
Klara is a alterntive for Aliyaj to use if you don’t have her and works very similar and well-built she can do really wel, too (See full build here).
