You can waste a big amount of time upgrading heroes when you reach the skill levels that cost a lot of Training Manuals, so I recommend for most players to carefully upgrade skills in Foundation Galactic Frontier as some skills are more important than others and higher levels give diminishing returns. Always keep in mind that higher skill upgrade levels have diminishing returns - this means you will get lower and lower additional effect per Training Manual that you spend so just pumping them into the skills like no tomorrow will not be in your best interest. Best Hero Pairing for Lily

Jodie Beart

Ajita

Phade

Kama Moai

Jodie Beart is an absolutel must-pair here, espcially early on. Make sure to set Jodie in a slot before Lily so her ability boost will give Lily an additional skill boost (See full build here).

Ajita is absolutely a must-pair here if you can make it, simply for the support she delivers and the direct ion synergy they two share (See full build here).

Phade is pretty much the epic version of Ajita and if you can’t make the Ajita-pairing here, he is absolutely a must-set on your ion flagship (See full build here).

Kama Moai is not really a pairing and more of a replacement honestly – there is not much point having both on the same ship lineup since there will be a lack of survivability but if there’s no other options (See full build here).
