Important Info For Ground Combat!!! Since the ground combat skills use the same Training Manuals that space combat uses, you simply can’t affort upgrading all of them, actually not even one more hero’s ground combat skill than needed. Please refer to our best ground combat teams here to see which ones to level and use for ground combat.

Best Hero Pairing for Kama Moai
Jodie Beart is an absolutel must-pair here, espcially early on. Make sure to set Jodie in a slot before Kama so her ability boost will give Kama an additional skill boost. Even mid-game a good pairing unless you get Lily to replace Kama (See full build here).
Ajita is absolutely a must-pair here if you can make it, simply for the support she delivers and the direct ion synergy they two share (See full build here).
Phade is pretty much the epic version of Ajita and if you can’t make the Ajita-pairing here, he is absolutely a must-set on your ion flagship (See full build here).
Lily is not really a pairing and more of a replacement honestly as they have similar kits but Lily just puts out so much more damage and is ideally the hero to replace her towards later in the game (See full build here).
