Building a character in Brown Dust 2 takes time and effort, a lot of time and effort – so I decided to make this ranked list for the different stages in Brown Dust 2 to help you decide what characters to focus on early-, mid- and end-game so you don’t waste anything on a character that might be useless or falling of heavily.

Brown Dust 2 Tier List (Eary, Mid, Late/End Game)
Please mind the tier list is tailored towards later game to also see what heroes you should not invest too much in + the total tier is based with focus on PvE (although there is also a PvP ranking included for every character)
Tier S+Amazing buff in her kit that increases everyones attack and crit rate for a lot of turns. Best 3-Star character in Brown Dust 2 right now and basically plug-and-play in any team in PvE and PvP right now.
Tier S+She can be a SP battery pretty well as off-tank in the middle row but really shines as crit rate buffer for the whole team with a massive buff.
Pretty good not just for her dispatch skill.
Tier SBest true damage attacker in the game right now, you'll get her at the beginning and fairly good to build with loads of costumes and probably one of the best earlier-carry in the game and still versatile towards the end. Without crits she misses some burst to be better in PvP.
Tier SDeals dmage over time and is overall just a great character to have. Nothing mind-blowing or overpowered but really good and with loads of costumes also versatile (although not all are equally great...).
Tier SIncreased attack and his Bloody Howl simply works great and also versatile with the many costumes he has, including a great tanking one for the frontline.
Tier A+Best farming and damage-over-time character in the game and it might be controversial to put her on the very top but I believe she belongs here, at least for PvE content she is the carry you're looking for. For PvP she is missing the burst and crits, though.
Tier A+With all the costumes she can do so much, deal good damage and is a very important character in any magic team in Brown Dust 2. The clearing buff ultimate is also meta in PvP to deal with characters like Arines.
Tier A+She acquires SP, has knock back and a great range for that and can knock back the entire front row, which makes her a really powerful character in Brown Dust 2, but also depending what you hit as her damage scales through the target max HP.
Tier A+Can be useful but there is no real use n the end-game meta for the barrier removal right now. If there comes more along the way, she will probably become a ton higher ranked here but at this point other heroes can deal the damage she deals easily and have the same effect, just better.
Tier A+Really good and I am excited to see more costumes for her.
Tier A+She is doing what she is supposed to do as a 5-Star but nothing too interesting that will blow your mind or give you any significant advantage. Her biggest flaw is probably that she is a physical attack character and debuffs magic resists that you will need in a magic attack team.
Tier A+Although he doesn't have damage over time or knockback, what is the meta in Brown Dust 2 right now, he is simply better than any other 3-Star or 4-star unit - but there are so many better damage dealers in the game right now that ranking him higher is nothing I would do. For PvP he is missing the burst since he deals true damage that can't crit.
Tier A+Really nice but to make her rock and roll you need hter +5.
Tier A+Evading chance when maxed is incredible and crazy knockback makes her high ranked in every end-game meta list for a reason. In PvP it's also super annoying to deal with her.
Tier ADecreases defense by a lot so all phsical attackers in your team will go crazy on that has a push back effect as well, so this is a slam dunk of a kit and one of the best right now and is useful pretty much everywhere.
Tier ANeeds to be heavily invested and ideally maxed out to keep up with the heroes here.
Tier B+Amazing range and also deals multiple stages of attack and also hits pretty much everything with her attack debuff and the best chain-killing character in Brown Dust 2.
Tier B+Essentially does what Scheherazade does just worse, for that reason ranked that low.
Tier B+Her ultimate is the same as Liatris but her effecct area not, making her significantly less powerful as you can't tick down all enemies like Liatris can.
Tier B+Is just the best tank style character in Brown Dust 2 right now, for that reason I rank her that high as she is very useful in many situations.
Tier B+Good in her niche and focus down certain targets but outside of that has not much usage.
Tier B+Not finally ranked yet as I need more time to fully test her before giving her a final tier.
Tier B+Easy to develop and very universal buff makes her very viable in the meta right now.
Tier B+Does nothing really well but a lot of that, that pretty much sums her up and I don't see her that relevant for the meta right now.
Tier B+Great defender that reduces damage and also deals great damage based on target max HP.
Tier BExplodes and deals massive damage and brings a lot to the table in his kit and is also a viable unit in the later stages of the game where you almost always get value out of him in PvE content in Brown Dust 2 - a must-invest character that is cheap and easy to build and will carry you a long time.
Tier BEmma is a 3-Star but with her pushback in her kit and the way she works, she can still be viable later in the game and that is also because she has this self-buff that increases her attack so much.
Tier BNot useless but doesn't too too much at the end of the day.
Tier BOne of the best 3-Star units in Brown Dust 2 and early-mid-game carry and enabler for magic teams but as this is a end-game list this is the highest they ranked simply because the 4-star and 5-Star are so much stronger and her effect falls off at some point.
Tier BHer skill can pretty much clear off an entire line of enemies and deals a lot of damage, which makes her still a solid hero later in the game, but not enough for me to rank her any higher as later the higher-star character take over in Brown Dust 2 and she is simply not able to fully keep up with them.
Tier BShe will guarantuee you a kill, that is pretty much all use-case she has in the endgame in Brown Dust 2 and this is not enough for me to rank her higher, looking at the better options you have (unless you really need exactly that).
Tier BCan frontline a magic team prettty well and that is pretty much his only use-case in the end-game of Brown Dust 2.
Tier BHas really disgusting (for your opponent) counter attack and can get opponents in real trouble with that and a great frontline character, but also requires you to play her in situations where this makes an impact which are not always plug-and-play.
Tier BNot really that great in combatting or assisting so I feel the other characters above are stronger. At the end of the day she is a 5-Star for the frontline so she will do her job and do it better than 3-Star or 4-Star but also there's not too much use in PvE for her.
Tier C+Her range is a huge problem as many times, epcially in PvP poeple simply place their units on the opposite of her range which makes her not that useful and her crit buffs goes into nothing so often with the way turns get counted. The bad thing is that she is great to burst with huge crits, which then goes to waste. In PvE she can be a bread-and-butter damage dealer easily.
Tier CShe is a 5-Star so she is not bad but more baseline and there's nothing too impressive about her kit that make we want to rank her any higher.
Tier CNot because he is a 4-Star he is ranked that low, it's because his kit is so heavily depending on RNG to proc that you won't have him reliably enough to really have fun with him in Brown Dust 2.
Tier CBest SP acquire in the game but that's pretty much about it and for the effort for developing him this is just too sitautional to rank him higher. He has his uses in PvP teams and there he can do great things, but for most players and PvE content simply lackluster.
Tier CHis attack down mechanism can be very specifically useful but overall he is not the unit that provides a lot of things in the end-game meta.
Tier CDifferent direction of knockback but pretty much the same as Remnunt.
Tier CThere's no real reason to build and use her right now and the fact that nobody does should be evidence enough of how not useful she is in Brown Dust 2.
Tier D+There reason I rank her here is one thing in her kit where she can make all allies attack one target, that's the reason to run her and she does that well if you need it to focus down a target, but that's it.
Tier D+As a 3-Star unit still ranked quite high here as he is a good frontline unit and provides pushbacks early in the game but falls off heavily without much chance. Use and build without spending and then replace mid-game.
Tier D+Although a great carry frontline unit earlier in Brown Dust 2, he falls off heavily later and is not working that well anymore and without much damage taken reduction he really struggles later in the game a lot.
Tier D+Can remove target damage over time and that's the only real purpose she has right now and her healing scaler is simply not doing it enough towards later stages in Brown Dust 2.
Tier D+She is basically a budget 3-Star version of Alec. Not too bad but struggles with the same flaws and also falls off later where you always replace her.
Tier D+Just not good, her skill does a attack that is just a little bit over normal attack so she doesn't provide any additional value at all.
Tier D+Not really useful the way her healing works and the modes where this would work don't really need a healer and there are simply so many better healing options in the game that I rank her that low for now.
