Best Newt Scamander Echo Decks in Harry Potter Magic Awakened

Well, he is a very interesting and flexible echo so I thought I will write a guide here to show you everything you need to know about him and also recommend some decks here to play him well.

Newt Scamander Echo – What Is There To Know?

Newt Scamander echoes work similarly to Hermione but instead of reducing costs, Newt Scamander echoes will give you a random creature card that you can play for 1 MP every 3 summons you play:

This means run him with as many creature cards as possible (summon cards) and spam them and then you can get, depending on your luck, even extremely high-cost summon cards that you can throw in as well. So, your opponent is busy dealing with all the summons you spam at him and then you even get more on top to overrun them.

Just like Hagrid Echo, you want to run Newt as echo in summon-heavy decks as you need to play many summon cards to trigger his effect and get the random 1-cost summon card added to your hand.

Is Newt Scamander A Strong Echo?

The only decks that you can use Newt as echo well in is summon spam so he depends a little on the meta – but sith so many summons there’s no way that summon decks are totally out of the meta, tbh.
