Best Commander Pairing for Belisarius (Prime)

Joan of ARc (Prime)

Alexander Nevsky

Huo Qubing

Joan of ARc (Prime) as primary commander with the support tree is a super sweet pairing with Belisarius Prime and they two go a very long way for basically every situation. Alexander Nevsky works really well too. They are both about cavalry and Nevsky brings the smash to the table that make them a great pairing. Huo Qubing is like Nevsky just a pairing that works really well with cavalry here and they both work alongside each other like a charm. William I is a really fun pairing with the rage engine you gain but in reality this will also get you a big target on your back since you are missing the survivability. – -.

Best Equipment Forge Order

In terms of equipment, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Belisarius (Prime). I have tailored this priority order that you can follow step-by-step to prevent forging and running equipment that is not useful or only provides a very small improvement. Follow the equipment path step-by-step and you will have the best and most economical gear:

Sharp Longsword is a great and super easy to get piece of equipment and the +5% defense for cavalry optimal

Coarse Breeches also a super low-hanging fruit here with extra attack for cavalry units

Milanese Plate is the very first chest piece as there is nothing prior that makes sense equipping for cavalry

Bronze Bracers are not the greatest equip gear overall but they give some cavalry defense and are the first viable option for this slot

Helm of Fear is the first helm piece to craft now. It has attack, which is not the best to have that early and you rather want defense but you can at least get some attack bonus from it

Edged Boots are the last open equipment slot and should be the last equipment piece to equip since the small attack bonus is the least benefit here, but it gives a litte extra attack on cavalry so it's worth it

Vanguard Halberd should now replace your white weapon and it is incredible good for a green equipment offering a good defense boost that you really need at this point

Vanguard Greaves are your choice here and with the Vanguard Helbred in place you will also get the additional set bonus so you have all green equipment now with a nice bonus and good amount of total stats

Windswept Boots are the first blue gear you should equip after you have all equipment above equipped and it's an incredible gear piece where every stat is on point

Windswept Bracers is the next equipment to replace the Bronze Bracers and it will give you great stats with health and march speed that is quite perfect + you will get the small attack buff as you now have two Windswept gear pieces active

Horn of Fury is overall the best choice for Belisarius Prime looking at the modes you can use him as primary commander and I’d take Horn of Fury in any of them without thinking much about it. If you use him for rally and you know you will get swarmed, Vengeance or Greates Glory can work well too as you will start dealing an incredible amount of counterattack damage and you can use your Horn of Fury on any other commander.Ring of Doom is just an incredible accessory to run as you have the chance to deal extra damage and this contributes so well with this commander, including counterattack damage. Just a damage-scaling equipment piece that will make a great impact here.

Best Builds For Belisarius (Prime)

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Belisarius (Prime) that make sense when running as the primary commander in any march in Rise of Kingdoms. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

As great as Belisarius Prime is, he has one big flaw and that is the mobility tree which just prevents him from being a great primary commander in your march since he will lack damage. Ark of Osiris it is great to have but normally most players really want to have him as the secondary commander. If not, this is the talent tree that makes most sense.
