The Wandering Balloon let us re-play past Voyage of Wonders realms and the realm that just got added is The Echoing Valley, a really nice Voyage of Wonders we had back in June 2020 and it will be available in the Wandering Balloon starting April 14th, 2021. This time the puzzle aspect is smaller compared to the previous ones and it’s more straightforward.
As always, I have a step-by-step guide below that you can use to solve the realm below.
The Echoing Valley General & Rewards
The main objective in The Echoing Valley is to actually push huge stone balls with the help of different Battering Rams through the map to open up all sections to reach the final boss fight. There’s nothing more to do than that 😉
What’s The Reward In The Echoing Valley?
Since the realm is moved into the Wandering Balloon, the main rewards have changed into 10x Faction Scrolls:
Also, you will find soul stones, emblems and boosters in the several Golden Chests.

The Echoing Valley Walkthrough
Without further ado, let’s jump right into the walkthrough where I show you step-by-step how to solve The Echoing Valley and beat the final boss.
Step 1 – the start is doing the obvious thing, using the Battering Ram to get the stone ball breaking the barrier so you can enter the main section of the map of the Echoing Valley.
Step 2 – the best thing to do now is to gather some relics to gain power.
And the easiest opponents ot find at this point are at the right side of the map. So go through those camps here and get all the relics here.
Step 3 – now it’s time for the next move that will open up the next part of the map.
Using the Battering Ram right here will not only move the stone to the next position, it will also open up another part of the map, so use it now to proceed.
Step 4 – after using that Battering Ram, you should clear off the camp on top.
It’s the easiest camp you can clear at this point and the relic is well-needed so take it now before you encounter further steps on the map of the Echoing Valley.
Step 5 – now it’s time to do the next step and use need to use the Battering Ram in the center of the map first.
This will move the stone to the bottom Battering Ram that you have to use right afterwards.
With this move you will destroy the next barrier.
Step 6 – I know it’s tempting to clear that camp on the bottom, but the next-easier camps to beat are the ones behind that barrier that you just destroyed.
There are several camps and Golden Chests to collect that you should now clear.
Do that now until you have cleared the whole path.
Step 7 – after you have cleared the path in Step 6, you now need to get to that Battering Ram next to the red stone and use it to send the stone towards north.
This will double-bounce another stone and open up another part of the map of the Echoing Valley.
Step 8 – the main objective now is to get that red stone down by getting to the red lever.
You do that by following the path to the north and work your path around that Battering Ram by clearing the camps here and walk towards the north without using that Battering Ram showed in the image.
Step 9 – following that path to the north will get you to the next section.
Work through that camp there and get the relic, get the Golden Chest and the use that Battering Ram to send that stone towards the right side to destroy the barrier.
Step 10 – now walk towards the right side and you will find the situation shown in the image.
Fight through that camp, collect the relic there and the Golden Chest behind it and then pull the red lever there.
The fight can be a little tricky (at leas on the test servers it was), but doable.
Step 11 – after you used the red stone, leave everything untouched in the upper part of the map and go back to the bottom left side of the Echoing Valley.
With the red stone lowered, you find there a Battering Ram with a camp to get removed.
Obviously, you need to fight through that camp there, get the Golden Chest and then use the Battering Ram.
Step 12 – now that you put that stone upwards, you need to use the Battering Ram next to the red stone to push that stone more towards the upper part of the map.
Step 13 – go now to the middle part of the map and push the stone with the Battering Ram towards the right side of the map.
This is essential as you need to get that stone into the right position.
After having done this, go to the railroad switch and and move the wagon to the right position to open up the path for the stone.
After you’ve done that, use the Battering Ram below the railroad switch to move the stone. DO NOT USE THAT BATTERING RAM BEFORE YOU MOVED THAT RAILROAD SWITCH TO THE RIGHT SIDE OR YOU WILL GET STUCK!!!
Step 14 – now walk towards the top part where you have now the two stones at the two Battering Rams.
Use the lower Battering Ram, and only that Battering Ram, to get to the next part of the map of the Echoing Valley.
Step 15 – now walk towards the right side and you will find that stone right on top of that Battering Ram.
Use this Battering Ram shown in the image to get deeper into the map.
Step 16 – Now you need to use the two battering Rams in the north of that, one after the other.
I know, I know, it’s annoying pushing work here but I promise you that it will get towards more fighting an collecting rewards soon.
Now go to the point of Step 14 and use the upper Battering Ram of that now.
It sounds odd to that but you need to do another round of stone-pusing and “re-stock” stones with that move.
Now walk to the left side from here and use the Battering Ram there.
This will give you the same result as you’ve seen in Step 14 but that’s perfectly right here at this point.
This is very likely the point where most people mess up the Echoing Valley.
Step 17 – now go back to the spot of Step 15 and use that Battering Ram again,
I know you feel like being in a repetitive dream but it’s the right way to solve the Echoing Valley so stick with my walkthrough.
Now go back to the center part with the two Battering Rams and use the lower one again. I now, I know, it’s the same stuff again but it’s correct.
Step 17 – now go the the Battering Ram of Step 17 and then go up and use the upper Battering Ram shown in the image here to send that stone to the left side.
This will finally put the two stones next to each other so you can move more to the top of the map of the Echoing Valley.
Now use the Battering Ram on the top section of the map and it’s time to finally do some camp clearing now.
Clear off now all the camps in the order of levels you see them.
There shouldn’t much problems with that for you and relics are really nice and useful for you.
The final boss fight and the Crystal Chest are the last ones to get.
