The Wandering Balloon let us re-play past Voyage of Wonders realms and the realm that just got added is Track of the Sands, a really nice Voyage of Wonders we had back in August 2020 and it will be available in the Wandering Balloon starting May 11th, 2021. Honestly, it’s save to say that this one here is really easy actually when it comes to the puzzle to solve and also the opponents to beat. We don’t even have a real boss fight this time
As always, I have a step-by-step guide below that you can use to solve the realm below.
Track of the Sands General & Rewards
The main objective in the Track of the Sands is to move a supply cart through two portal steps to the end position. When you manage to get the cart to the end portal, it will give you the main Crytal Chest reward for the realm. On the way you have to unblock the path of the cart and defeat some camps, that’s it.
What’s The Reward In Track of the Sands?
Well, the rewards changed a bit now that this realm is in Wandering Balloon and the main reward is now 10x Faction Scrolls:
Along you will find the usual boosters, soul stones and emblems in the Golden Chests, too.

The Track of the Sands Walkthrough
Without further ado, let’s jump right into the walkthrough where I show you step-by-step how to solve the Track of the Sands.
Step 1 – walk straight to the left and fight the camp on your path and collect the Golden Chest.
On the left side you will find a railroad lever and also a cart that you need to move out of the path by using the railroad lever and the right railroad switch as you can see in the image.
Step 2 – to defeat that boss on the railroad, you need to get some relics first.
Go to the right side from you point and you will find two camps there that also protect Golden Chests and defeat the enemies there. It’s not hard at all.
Step 3 – now you need to get that yellow stone down by using the yellow lever.
You can go upwards and to the right and you will get to that section there after fighting through other regular camps on your way.
Now do also clear out the camp there, collect the chest and pull the yellow lever down so the bottom stone will not block the path towards Portal 1 anymore.
Step 4 – now go back down and defeat that boss camp on the track. With the relics you collected it shouldn’t be any problem anymore.
You also need to move that cart above there to the left position or the supply cart will reset. You won’t get stuck if you forget this, but it’s annoying and simply costs time.
No go to the bottom left and use the switch next to the supply cart and it will go to Portal 1.
Step 5 – alright, now we need to make the railroad clear for the supply cart to reach Portal 2 and we need to send it around.
The first thing to do now will be using the yellow lever again so the first obstacle in the path will disappear.
Step 6 – now you go through the track and remove obstacle after obstacle. I always thought there will be some kind of twist or puzzle, but it’s actually pretty straightforward.
The next step will be using the railroad switch and the cart switch as shown in the image to make the cart go up and then right again.
Now use the supply cart lever again and you will reach the Portal 2 with it.
Step 7 – alright, two third done now. to reach Portal 3, you need to send the cart around to the right side, there’s no way to get straight here after Portal 2.
Defeat that boss camp, which shouldn’t be a problem, and move the cart above it to block the straight path. This will send the supply cart right into the correct direction.
Step 8 – now follow the path to the right and move the very right cart down so the supply cart can go up (as you can see in the image).
You then also need to use the blue lever one time. No worries, you won’t get locked in there. Go there afterward and use it and also clear the camp you will find there and collect that Golden Chest as well 🙂
There’s no way you can get stuck in The Track of the Sands.
Step 9 – now go to the top right corner area where you need to clear one more camp and also use one more railway switch that you need to set straight.
Also clear all the other camps you can find there and collect all the Golden Chests you have there, we’ve almost reached the end of the Track of the Sands here.
Step 10 – Now you have one last boss camp on the railroad that you need to fight and then the path is clear and you can send the supply cart from Portal 2 to Portal 3 and it will reveal the final Crystal Chest.
