The Wandering Balloon let us re-play past Voyage of Wonders realms and the realm that just got added is The Art of Conquest, a really nice Voyage of Wonders we had back in April 2021 and it will be available in the Wandering Balloon starting September 13th, 2022. It’s a really lovey-designed one that I really enjoyed solving but overall it’s not that difficult.
Art of Conquest General & Rewards
There’s not many puzzles in the Art of Conquest, it’s more about tactical relic collecting. You have some boss camps that will reset all the relics you collected so you need to plan them wisely or you might have to face a boss fight that is too tough and you need to start over again. That’s basically it for this realm.
Rewards are also not that exciting, with the main Crystal Chest containing 10x Summons Scrolls and 1000x Diamonds. I know that at least some Faction Emblems would have been nice but the Art of Conquest is fairly quick to solve so I think it’s alright.

Art of Conquest Walkthrough
As always, you will find a full walkthrough for the realm here. As I said in the beginning, choosing the war relics is the key to finish the Art of Conquest – you will lose all war relics after a boss battle so you need to leave enough for the final battle.
Step 1 – right at the start you need to collect all the relics and chests before you encounter the first boss camp:
After that boss camp you will lose all the war relics you collected but that’s fine.
Step 2 – then follow the path to the north and collect that war relic there next to the Crystal Chest. After that, go to the right bottom part where you have another war relic and Golden Chest that you need to collect:
Then you have the next boss camp there that will reset the war relics again.
Step 3 – in the next section you also need to collect all the war relics and Golden Chests before encountering the next boss fight:
Step 4 – now you need to stop collecting any war relics. Clean the camps you have now on the map and also collect the Golden Chests but do NOT collect the war relics before you’ve beaten the boss camp with the 5x Arthurs.
Then do the Arthur boss fight. If you have collected the war relics before beating this, you won’t have any relics for the final battle and this makes it, for almost all players, impossible to complete the Art of Conquest!
Now you can collect all the leftover war relics on the map and do the final boss battle:
That’s it, you have completed this, quite short, Voyage of Wonders.
