Empires & Puzzles Calendar (January 2023) – Full Quest/Trial/Event Schedule

Every month we see different trials, quests and events in Empires & Puzzles and they do not always follow a strict and fixed schedule. Still, it’s possible to predict the events at the beginning fo the month quite accurately.

I wanted to write this guide here to give you a (monthly updated) overview of what events, trials and quests you will see so you’re well prepared and ready not to waste any potential rewards:

I try to also give you the upcoming events as accurately as possible, however, some are quite randomly planned.

But I have here some more info about the event rotation so you can also give yourself an indication.

Special Events – Random

Seasonal Special Events like the Santa’s Challenge, Easter Challenge or Path of Valor are completely up to the developers and there’s no way to predict them away from reading the notes of the developers.

As soon as such an event is coming up I will give you the info here.

Monthly Challenge Events

Every month we also see something like a featured event – they do follow a fixed rotation:

  • Pirates of Corellia
  • Riddles of Wonderland
  • Fables of Grimforest
  • Guardians of Teltoc
  • Knights of Avalon

Also, they normally start on the 2nd Wednesday each month unless there’s any big interference with a seasonal event, but that’s rarely happening.

You can find out more about the Challenge Events here in my full guide.

Costume Event

The Costume Event is back from hiatus end of 2019 and we will see it appear every month again. It’s normally happening on the 3rd Monday of each month but there’s no confirmation from the developers about it, yet. So take this as my assumption 🙂

Atlantis Rises

Happens normally on the 4th weekend of every month unless there’s any interference with any seasonal event.

Trials

Trials follow a fixed cycle in order of appearance and are always on Wednesdays and Sundays so they are quite easy to predict

  • Trials of Strength (Rewards Barbarians & Fighter Emblem)
  • Trial of Fortitude (Rewards Cleric & Druid Emblem)
  • Trial of Mysticism (Rewards Wizard & Sorcerer Emblem)
  • Trial of Serenity (Rewards Paladin & Ranger Emblem)
  • Trial of Survival (Rewards Barbarian & Rogue Emblem)
  • Trial of Deity (Rewards Monk & Cleric Emblem)
  • Trial of Decimation (Rewards Fighter & Wizard Emblem)
  • Trial of Nature (Rewards Druid & Ranger Emblem)
  • Trial of Shadow (Rewards Rogue & Sorcerer Emblem)
  • Trial of Justice (Rewards Paladin & Cleric Emblem)

I also have a full guide on getting emblems here that will give you some additional help.

Quests

Quests also follow a fixed order that cycles through all the time:

  • Farholm Pass 2
  • Mount Umber
  • Shrikewood
  • Frostmarch
  • Farholm Pass 1
  • Shiloh Desert
  • Morlovia

They appear every 7-10 days and are the hardest to predict. There are normally 3 of them every month with one week completely off and it seems like the developers do spread them according to how the other events cycle.

There are also no fixed days of the week when they appear, they are random in their 7-10 days cycle.
