Skill Order

When you star up Ordo, you also unlock a new skill. This helps you fine-tune in what order you want to upgrade the skills of your heroes as not all skills are equally good and worth maxing or worth maxing first (in general) – this helps to invest your sculptures more reasonably to get the biggest bang for your buck.

Best Troop Types

If you’re gathering run with gathering troops and if you’re engineering alliance structures running infantry works best.

Best Hero Pairing for Ordo

Nico with his 2nd skill that boosts engineering is a good combination if you do some engineering as both will increase building speed. Find the talent builds for Nico here.
Kregg is also boosting engineering and can be a great hero if you have his 4th skill unlocked (and even better, when upgraded). Find the talent builds for Kregg here.

Best Artifacts

In terms of artifacts, here’s what I recommend to use as the route for Ordo:

Joyous Fireworks increase engineering so it works great and you will have it maxed out very early for faster engineering.
Greenfinger Sickle for gathering works quite well as it will increase your load capacity and you can make an initial boost of gathering.
Illusory Gem als gives you added legion load capacity for gathering with Ordo.
Storm Leaf is only an advanced artifact but you can still get additional gathering load capacity.

Best Builds For Ordo

Below you will find the talent tree builds for Ordo that make sense when running Ordo as the primary hero in any legion in Call of Dragons. Please also refer to the description below each talent tree as I explain a general route on how you should spend your talents there + some additional background for each talent build that I very likely will appreciate.

As Ordo doesn’t have the gathering tree, which is odd as he is your mana gathering hero in Call of Dragons, going into the Engineering Tree is the only useful option with Ordo to get as much engineering speed to help building your alliance structures as well as possible.

After you unlocked the core node of Ordo, go directly into the Engineering Tree and pick up Fortification to boost building speed even further and Havoc in case you send him as support to destroy other alliances structures. From here take Engineering Models as building makes a lot more sense with Orda than destructing and in the second half of the Engineering Tree take the other Fortification point, Stockpiling for the case you’re destroying enemy alliance buildings, Eminent Domain for a general engineering speed buff and Right to Work.

The last points then should be in the Overall Tree with more march speed and War Banner for more legion capacity that will be useful and Overall Speed in the Engineering Tree.

Conclusion

I hope this guide for building Ordo helped you investing without wasting much time and resources.
