Barnacle is your ideal captain for your drowing ship, dealing good drowing damage and applying and synergizing well with the damage over time of Taking-on Water, the damage over time effect of heroes that use Drowing damage. – Eileen also deals Drowning damage to multiple targets, apply Taking-on Water and synergizes really well with Barnacle when put in the First Mate position of this ship setup. – Adeline is a important hero in the gunner position simply as she is incredibly strong for Drowning and Taking on Water effect as the seasonal legendary hero she is she brings the Drowning archetype into the meta a huge more.
This is the perfect Drowing damage hero team setup if you want to run a ship with that type of damage in Sea of COnquest for me. Dealing a lot of damage and affecting multiple targets is a lot of fun and also effective.
Possible alternative heroes:
Mad Dog in the Gunner position makes my good team here if you don’t have Adeline. These heroes make sense to swap in if you’re building a Drowining team. Make sure to run at least 2 drowing heroes or maybe consider using another type of damage dealing ship that will work better as there is not too many heroes that make a Drowning team well here.
