When building your Artillery ship in Sea of Conquest, you have several options when it comes to heroes and ship parts so I wanted to write this guide here to give you a clear ideal what is important to do.Your artillery ship in your formation deals damage to multiple enemies and is in many battles the one when attacking anything that has formations. Not too great against single targets like monsters.

Ophelia as the captain of your artillery ship makes perfect sense, she hits hard, she hits many targets and has just a ton of artillery damage synergy. – Chizuru as the First Mate is a hero with excellent synergy and skills and even a tick stronger than Sharky here in this position. – Oscar in the Gunner position will increase the Artillery damage that Ophelia and Sharky deal and as they hit multiple targets at the same time, this will scale incredibly.
This setup here will deal so much damage to any formation that has multiple ships that it is hard to come by, even if they use a strong flagship to keep you busy you will chip a lot of damage to the other ships.
Possible alternative heroes:
Sharky as the First Mate of your artillery ship deals a ton of damage along Ophelia and will nuke. Every time you attack a formation, they will bring havoc and, honestly, if you don’t have your Chizur built and your Sharky well-upgraded I’d actually consider even swapping Sharky out. The Ship Parts need to fit the goal you want to achieve with your ship and make also an important part. Don’t just use the highest rarity or leveld ship parts here, use the ones that make the right set and ideally have the correct stats on them.

As soon as you have your set bonus as above ready, it’s time to refine it with ship parts of the right set that has ideally the main stat and 2 sub-stats fitting well. I generally find your recommendations here really good. I think you may have made a mistake in recommending Oscar over Qi Lanting though. I’ve done quite a lot of testing with a 4 star Qi vs maxed out Oscar, and my artillery ships reliably does more damage when I put Qi in the gunner seat. You might want to re-examine your own results here. The difference is quite big, whether due to recent changes or not I can’t say.
