This is the detail guide for the Allround gear build in Survivor.io that will help you pick the most optimal gear – overall and also with alterntives for your gear roaster if you don’t have the optimal gear pieces available or leveled up enough to have the relevant bonuses on them. This is the universal build that most players probably aim for in the first place – or at least in my opinion should aim for. This build works in chapters, events and of course in Enders Echo. The reason why this is the Allround build is that it works good in all modes, although you will find builds below that work better in certain modes in Survivor.io, if you#re not in the position where you will build multiple loadouts well it*s better to fully focus on this one.
Important! I highly recommend you, away from this build, to check out my guide on the weapons in Survivor.io here and my guide on the best skills to pick during battle here.
Also please refer to my general guide to all the important builds for the different game modes: Check out all different gear builds in Survivor.io here.
Optimal Gear for the Allround Gear Build in Survivor.io
In absolute general, here is the gear order you normally would follow – but please also check out below the builds for each character there are some discrependancies from the general advice:
Starter Build
The Start Build is basically your baseline where you want to be before you decide what higher-rarity gear you will get while still scaling and being able to clear chapter and do events at a point where rewards will let you progress. The Starter Build pretty much is the easiest to evolve into the Army Belt Build below that is the best build for mid-game and entry late-game
Army Belt Build
The Army Belt Build uses the shield effect of the Army Belt AF3 effect to gain a shield when killing elites and then stay out of damage with using other S-Rank gear that you will also be able to use later. This build is primarily used in mid-game and considered the most efficient and available build for most players and can then be the base to evolve into the endgame builds like the Deathword build
Deathword Build
The Deathword Build is the easier of the current viable endgame builds but you need to heavily invest into the AF levels with gloves and necklace and chest ideally being AF3. It doesn’t appear a huge jump from the Army Belt build but with the Forge investment it’s not that easy to accomplish but you will be easily able to cheat death with it

Everoid Build
The Everoid Build is, and please don’t take this the wrong way, not a viable build for most players and requires heavy invest of money at certain points to build. This is right now the absolute best build you can run in gear
Best Gear For Each Character
Now taking the characters into account, there are more unique builds that we have covered in our individual builds:
