The new Astral Forge will give you the chance to add additional skills to your weapons by dissembling unneeded item pieces – so basically you pulled S-Grade items you don’t need/use/exceed so you can get upgrade items for the Astral Forge to level up their S-Grade weapon to unlock additional skills and make them stronger.
Important! Please refer to my weapon tier list and my gear tier list in Survivor.io to make sure you don’t dissemble parts that are useful later!

How The Astral Forge Works
You will find the Astral Forge when you go your equipment tab and then select ‘Merge’ and there you will find a new button ‘Astral Forge’:
So you can basically salvage a item you don’t need to get upgrade parts – the parts are divided into the different sets, which right now are the Eternal Set, the Voidwalker Set and the Disorder Set that we only have the weapon available right now.
These items then can be used to upgrade your weapon of the same set.
So if you dissemble Voidwalker items, you will get the items to upgrade the Void Power to unlock the Astral Forge Effect, which unlocks the ability that two Black Holes from the Void Power merge into a bigger Black Hole when they collide:
Please mind the Astral Forge will become available on July 13th, then I will update this guide here with all the skills and more details as this is the only leaked information that is available now – I highly recommend that you don’t dissemble anything or invest anything there unless I had the chance to finish this guide!
Conclusion
I hope this overview helps you to decide what to invest in and not waste any items in the Astral Forge.
None of the five star effects on these items exist. The other astral forge effects appear correct, save for mistakes like the Armor of Quietus’ AF1 effect adding 20% attack, not 50%. The pictures showing eternal and void cores are edited; it’s not possible to have those cores in increments other than five.
I believe it’s only for legend grade gear or if you ever get any type of forge from events.
