Hero Wars Iris Skin & Glyph Priority (Mobile & Browser)

Are you not sure in which skins you should invest for Iris in Hero Wars? Also, there are significant differences in Hero Wars Mobile and Hero Wars Web versions of him. But here’s the good news – I have both priorities listed below so you can easily see what skins and glyphs you should prioritize.

To get a general idea how important investing in Iris really is please also refer to my frequently updated tier list that is based on total synergies and in my opinion the only tier list out there that really makes sense as Hero Wars resolves a lot around synergies of heroes and not individual strength of heroes:

Here is a quick overview of the rankings of Iris in Hero Wars. Please refer to the full tier list linked below to see the ranking of all heroes in Hero Wars and full evaluation and priority.Synergy: B+Hydra: DFull Tier List

Team synergies with Iris

Building Iris the right way is only half of the way as you also need a good team! I have a very important guide on team synergies for Iris:

Here is the ideal order in which you should invest in Iris’s skins. Very Important! Do NOT invest in the skins in the same order you invest in the glyphs! This will end you up with a lopsided-developed hero.

The below skin priority is tested in line with the stats you get from the glyphs to prevent running into stat caps or building a Iris that goes down too early. I know many players that use the glyph priority for the skins and end up with a mis-built hero that takes quite some invest to get back on track! Below you will find also advice what level each skin should have before you can start investing in the next one:

Stellar (Super)
Stellar (Super) SkinThe Stellar (Super) Skin should be the first skin you invest in for Iris since it enhances the core stats for the kit the best.

With all that in mind, this is my recommended priority to level Iris’s artifacts:

Book
BookIris's Book is the best artifact and should be your priority here to level before everything else.
Weapon
WeaponIris's Weapon is your second priority but don't invest higher or the same as in the Book.
Ring
RingIris's Ring is not that helpful and I would only recommend you investing if you're a higher spender, competitive player or use Iris a lot. Still don't invest as much as you do in the other two artifacts!

If you liked it or you further questions (or maybe also annnotations that you believe should be added here in this guide), please don’t hesitate to post them below in the comment section. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

  1. Good point Ken. I also was wondering why they have recommended a glyph that the hero does not have. Seems like the author of this guide has made some errors putting the whole guide into dispute.
