F1 Clash Roar of the Thai-Ger Event Guide (Challenger)

Covered by our F1 Clash team, including:
We write for players, not search engines — add us as a preferred source to support what we're doing.

Still pause in terms of real Grand Prix events so the devs continue to come up with exotic events in F1 Clash and this week we have Alex Albon and Thailand as cover theme (although I am not sure why those have to start off in Monza) and, as always, we have the full guide here for you to make sure you finish well in the points

By the way, don’t forget that we have just finished updating our guides for the series in 2025 – check out Series 3 here, Series 4 here, Series 5 here, Series 6 here, Series 7 here, Series 8 here, Series 9 here, Series 10 here, Series 11 here and Series 12 here.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️

Please mind that this is the guide for the Challenger Class – if you’re not taking part in the Challenger Class, here are the guides for Junior Class, Contender Class and Champion Class

Event Overview

The races are done all in the same conditions and setups, no matter what day. The races you have on the Qualifying Day are exactly the same you have in the Opening Round and in the Final Round, including the weather conditions. Use the links here to jump to the race

QUALIFYING ROUND:

OPENING/FINAL ROUND:

Remember, you can change your car/driver setup for each race and you should – this means you will get the ideal setup for each single one to make sure you land the best prices at the end of the final round of the event.

Unlike regular series races where you don’t know the exact track to come, events will let you know exactly what track you’re on so you have to adapt your car/driver setup BEFORE every race for the best results!

🇮🇹 Monza Setup

The ideal car setup for this race in the event is:

  • Brakes: Supernova
  • Gearbox: Fury
  • Rear Wing: X-Hale
  • Front Wing: Vortex
  • Suspension: Curver 2-5
  • Engine: Spark-E

There is two approaches here. You can send in both drivers on medium tires and hope that there won’t be much stacking. Totally fine if you drivers qualify very differently. I, however, recommend that one driver starts on soft tires and pushes early and then uses the hard tires in the last stint. This prevents stacking and unless there is something really unfortunate happening this is a better startegy to have one driver well in the points for sure. Also, if your driver or booster will have high Tyre Mangement, you can also attempt the 2-stop on the driver with the medium tires on soft tires which will give a good extra boost.

🇧🇷 Sao Paulo Setup

Make sure both your drivers have Tyre Management above 57 and you can do a good 1-stop strategy with them. If the Tire Management is below you need to do the 1-stop on hard tires but they are a lot slower so take a booster if you need to

🇨🇳 Shanghai Setup

The ideal car setup for this race in the event is:

  • Brakes: Supernova
  • Gearbox: Slickshift
  • Rear Wing: X-Hale
  • Front Wing: Vortex
  • Suspension: Equinox
  • Engine: The Reactor

There is nothing you can do there since it’s raining and the wet tires will not last 4 laps with the possible drivers you have. 2-stop strategy it is (inverted so your drivers don’t stack pitting)

🇦🇺 Melbourne Setup

The only working and prooven strategy here is the 1-stop on medium tires. Don’t get funky, you want the points and not beat your opponent so simply use the 1-stop, try letting one driver push away from the other early on to have minimal stacking and finish the race in good points

🇮🇹 Monza Setup

And for the last race use the exact same strategy for your pit stops that you used in the first race to finish well in the points.
